And Earthbound, should be on that list.
If you want games like these to sell, and have some actual variety in gaming, then stop purchasing generic shooters that dilute the industry with so many clones, and destroy incentive to produce anything but more shooters.
*Yawn* They keep showing similar crap all the time. I was bored watching this stuff.
Sony has too many games to release that they end up competing with each other and hurting all around sales. What Sony should do is spread out the releases and release some high-profile games during the months where traditionally there are lags in game releases. That way they don't have games competing against each other, AND they get to have games out at all times during the year.
Love the pic.
You said.
"Wii is the highest selling console ever in the history of video games"
Not fastest.
BTW, it is the height of lame to resort to posting how many people ignore you. I have a minute number, so what's your point? I also have more bubbles than you, but who cares? Neither are important.
Also, nice to see you haven't proven a single thing you've said. I'm not seeing any links. All I'm seeing is you running your mouth.

Captain_Sony: You know, I was about ready to respond to your pathetic post until I read this "I cannot comprehend that Wii is the highest selling console ever in the history of video games."
Which is really funny considering that the PS1 and PS2 actually hold that title. See, when the Wii sells 130 million units in its lifetime, then you can make that statement. Until then, that one little sentence pretty much makes you the biggest moron in the world, and completely inv...
HOME IS 2005 TECH IN 2008? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
People want to pay for NXE? AHAHAHAHAHAHA*COUGH*HAHAHAHAHA !!!!
Oh man, I've never laughed so hard. NXE rips off the Mii Avatars and uses Netflix whilst Home uses more realistic avatars and has personal video streaming.
You know, technically since Home was supposed to be for the PS2, he isn't wrong. But whenever this guy opens his mouth, you just want to say "Here's your sign". And anyone w...
"We are purposely going to understock retailers to drive up demand for our ghey console. We have plenty of Wii's available, but we don't want people to realize what a sh1tty console it is, so we create demand by using word of mouth and lack of stock. I mean, we don't have any games of note coming out yet, so we have to find SOME way of making money".
I'm looking at it through Bruce Lee resolution, you miss nothing.
WAAAAAATCHAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!
But you'd have to be able to understand the Kutaragi Scrolls. It's written in 4D.
The 360 will have to be reliable (pffft, yeah right. It'll never happen) and the PS3 will have to have a MASSIVE price cut.
The Wii is successful first because it was the cheapest console available at the beginning of this gen, and second because of child word-of-mouth advertising. It's not because it's good.
You didn't read the gaming bible.
And laughed myself to death, came back to life only to continue laughing my ass off to the point where I now have no ass because it was so damn funny to see someone, likely with a straight face when typing it, say that Microsoft clearly won this year because of the only two quality games they released the entire damn year. That's just funny stuff.
This blogger should take the act on the road and maybe make some REAL money doing something more respectable than lying about Microsof...
The funniest part is that Miyamoto said that WiiFit was never meant to be a replacement for actual exercise, it was just supposed to be a game.
Bubbles for that. That was awesome. Casual gamers are like hydras. Kill one head, and two more pop up.
Not only are casual gamers responsible for the overall dilution of game quality, as developers now create games to cater to people with less skill and taste which makes games easier and of lesser quality, but casual gamers are more likely to stop purchasing gaming products after a certain amount.
For example, casual gamers are called casual because gaming for them is just a passing hobby. They get their fix and then stop. So it's likely that casuals will buy stuff en masse, givin...
J/K
But in all seriousness, I'm not surprised. Gamers, especially veterans, are very loyal to their love of gaming. It's a habit that will die hard, if it ever came to it, for a lot of people. So, it's not surprising that the current economy isn't having much of an impact on the gaming industry.
And the funny thing is, it's likely the hardcore gamers who spend thousands a year on gaming that are keeping it afloat, as opposed to the casuals who may by en masse once an...
Personally, I loved Assassins Creed. I loved the freedom of it, purposely killing people in front of guards to piss them off, then wiping an entire battalion out on the streets. I loved sneaking up to the Templars and Silent Blade Assassinating them. I loved a lot about Assassins Creed, enough to not really care about the repetitive gameplay and tacked on story.
But, a lot of people didn't like it, so Ubisoft are going to delay a game for no reason. Who knows, Assassins Creed 2 c...
For redemption, we unfortunately need to look at G4TV.
