@kurruptor
I'm not a hater. I still play destiny at least once a week.
The truth (for me) is that the game is not exactly boring - but it is repetitive.
It's a grind, and one that is almost pointless, except to get slightly fancier looking gear with slightly higher stats.
But I still play it and enjoy it.
If people don't like that repetition, then they are well justified to call the game boring. ...
How do PC players expect to win using the 'superior' mouse and keyboard!?

Thanks memots, GMW, Bennibop,
I am a big racing fan, but I've been on the fence with DriveClub because of the problems reported, and because I was never a huge fan of Evolutions other title, Motorstorm
The PS+ Free version would have been a nice opportunity to try it. Good to know the problems have been dealt with.
I think I'll grab it in the New Year
Probably my most anticipated game of 2015... Which is saying something with Uncharted 4, and other big releases coming.
Opinion
People need to let go of this obsession with seeing Final Fantasy VII remade.
If it every comes, great. But lets hope they fix all the things that are outdated (save points, clunky combat).
I'd much rather see 3D remakes of the old 16-bit FF games. Or HD remastering of FFVIII and IX. Or just have SE concentrate on getting the FF series back on track after XIII.
I loved FFVII when it came out, and I have great memories of playing it - b...
What are the main issues with DriveClub now?
I was hoping to pick up the free PS+ edition, but after that got postponed I have been in two minds whether to buy it.
Both consoles have a great future line up. But I can't see the PS4 sales lead shrinking.
I think so.
Not only are the graphics / animation a step up - but more importantly the game play looks like a progression as well.
The dynamic fighting seems far better than previous versions.
What!?
The DS4 and XBox360 controllers are the only ones to come close to the GameCube's controller.
They all have their faults - but the GameCube controller is excellent.
The GameCube controller is definitely one of my favourites. It's almost perfect.
The only thing I would change is the C-Stick to make it a little more FPS friendly.
Can't wait to get the adapter so I can use my old controllers on the Wii U.
@abzdiine
If SE do a remake of FFVII I wouldn't mind.
But it's not required. I'd rather see new games that equal the experiences of first playing FFVII.
FFVII remake would need a lot of changes to make it hold up today. The spread out Save points on their own would frustrate many newer players. The combat is a bit clunky as well.
I thought the PSX Uncharted 4 footage looked awesome. I don't understand people complaining it's not like the E3 trailer footage.
Game engine rendered cut-scenes have always been, and will always be, better than in-game real-time footage - as more resources can be dedicated to the rendered scene.
What amazes me is that the E3 and PSX footage is so close when you consider all the variables and extra resources required to output game play footage to ...
What is it with all the hacking attempts and DDoS attacks these last few months!
The Yogscast Xmas streams has been disrupted twice in 8 days from DDoS attacks. They're raising money for charity by playing games, and some jackass floods them. It's disgusting.
I agree.
Nintendo scaled back their E3 showing, and got some great press from their Tree House and other digital events.
When you consider how much it must cost Sony, MS etc to attend E3 and all they really get is 2hours to present their biggest news - I suspect they see much better value by having their own shows where they can control everything and nothing gets lost in the noise from competitors.
If Sony don't think they are getting value for money or enough control at E3, then they may scale it back, like Nintendo have. If that happens I'd imagine so would MS.
Maybe E3 is best left to Indies and third parties.
I'm not sure how relevant E3 really is these days anyway.
Yeah, and interestingly most of the SF tourneys I have watched recently have been played on the 360. If that jumps to the PS4 for SFV it's a good win for Sony.
It would be a good marketing tool for Sony to be involved in the tournament scene.
You can almost smell the burning of keys, as websites desperately churn out articles.
A quote from a link in the SAME article you refer to...
"Xbox boss Phil Spencer has confirmed to Eurogamer that Microsoft's controversial exclusivity deal for Rise of the Tomb Raider "has a duration".
However, he declined to confirm how long that duration is set for."
Neither of our quotes say it's coming to PS4, but neither say it isn't!
Good effort cherry picking your info though.

"Repetition is not necessarily a diminishment of fun"
The fun in the repetition comes from having better gear or doing things more efficiently.
If I do a Strike the first time I have little clue what to do, and I may be too low level so wipe a lot. But I get better, I level up, I find new gear.
I do the Strike again. I get killed less. I play more efficiently. My team coordinates better. I get better gear and rewards.
