Does anyone play games for fun anymore? This whole Halo/COD takes more skill than the other or whatever is ridiculous....While one might take more "skill", it's a game meant to be fun and by all the arguing I think people need to get their priorities straight
nah it means that if you get a harrier, it's kills don't count towards your current killstreak....
so if you get 7 to get a harrier, and that harrier gets 3 kills while you haven't killed anyone, your ks count is still at 7
well I always turn around as soon as I hear that sound....die maybe once every other match...sometimes every two matches....not as crappy as it used to be without CB

As an example, the beta had about 2 million seperate players according to Bungie over 2 weeks. That's when the experience was exclusive to a disc that not many people bought compared to the others....me thinks your one bubble says more about your comment than I could

yea if XBOX didn't have Reach and Gears, I wouldn't have Live but they do and I like Live a bit better so I just buy all multiplats on 360 since I've got live anyway for Halo
The nube toob is the highest cost to unlock as an attachment, also OMA is gone so only two shots per life which is fine. I think it has a place. If you've got 2-3 people holed up near an objective....trying to kill them one by one is a bad idea...so the explosion is the best tool

um...isn't every game like that? Even with Halo, you're not gonna run out in the middle of the map to get sniped from everywhere....now if you camp for 10 minutes in one spot, that's bad
But if you go slowly checking your corners and behind you, killing someone that comes by, checking corners again and move on...that's called being smart. Camping is sitting behind a car for 10 minute sand picking people off as they go by.

Really? I like BC2 and all but all that game is at this point is half the players sniping from across the map. The other thing is while I like DICE and EA as developers, the lag in their games gets increasingly bad as time goes on and in general, the support and patches tends to dwindle as the life of a product continues. BC2 isn't lightyears ahead of COD...all that was really wrong with MW2 is some balance issues which looks to be almost addressed in BO
Well, Treyarch says they have a way to prevent hacking and modding and control it if it does happen and they say Black Ops will not suffer from modding problems. I'm not sure if I fully believe them, but that's what they say. I prefer the XBOX 360 mainly because of the integration of the features of Live but PSN is just fine. Just kinda depends if you have Reach or another game on Live...just this one game isn't worth subscribing to gold imo

he's saying ( and I agree) that the core experience....which includes the pace, basic gameplay experience and overall feel was good but the perks and killstreaks made that basic gameplay into something less than good.

The only people to play the game and have said what they thought, said there was a bit more recoil than MW2 feel to the guns. I'm trust people who have played it over those who haven't
I've never played KZ2 so I can't comment on the series. I do know that this COD "appears" to be trying to bring skill back into the equation at least a little bit, which is nice. I'm not sure if that will bring my k/d up or down but yea.

Yea I can respect those questions because the RC car balance is one for me....they're just trying to come up with new things and it's hard to do in a series like COD where so much has happened.

Gun game from Counterstrike...a credit system from Halo: Reach (who took it from others). In fact, most of the new game modes are ideas taken from community or other games like counterstrike. The bots have been done all the way back to perfect dark and before on the N64. They aren't innovating anything really. They look to be trying to add the good things and tkae out the not so good things of every FPS game and while I still think Reach has done this better, COD looks to be a good ga...
