With all due respect to Resistance 3, I think this had a lot to do with Gears being in that week after Rage was supposed to release.....I think they're trying to find that sweet spot between Gears and Battlefield 3.....If I wasn't buying Resistance as well (gonna give the franchise a chance..never played it) I'd buy Rage but they're playing with fire in that spot as it's gonna be full on BF3 hype time
Um...just give me a release date...I already know it's gonna be awesome but It can't be awesome if it doesn't come out on the market.....

Definitely but I'm ok with it...I mean just in Holiday alone I'm getting (not all at once...some will bleed into 2012) Resistance 3, Gears 3, Arkham City, MW3, BF3, Uncharted 3, Skyrim, AC: Revelations and then of course ME3 in Jan 2012....geeze game industry, been busy apparently
I can do this easily.....
BF3 has better graphics than MW3 and deeper/more tactical gameplay while MW3 has fast paced, twitch based gameplay that is just plain fun.
BF3 will probably sell less while being a better quality game (imo and also because it's a 3-5 year dev cycle as opposed to two...increased quality stands to reason) than MW3. However, MW3 will still be a fun game and will do very well.

Unless I'm missing something (haven't been following this game), it looks like L4D with a bit more story
I want to see how they add Kinect to the hardcore games like this....I can guarantee you that the new Halo will use Kinect when it comes out but how I've got no clue. Whether they go the whole way and make it completely usable with kinect or just partially compatible with voice commands for squad mates, etc......I don't know but it's gonna be interesting to find out
I know this won't be a popular opinion but here goes....this is more for the COD heads that play the game all the time. If you think about it, let's say the monthly charge is 5 bucks a month.....they generally come out with a map pack every 2-3 months right? So right there you techincally get the map pack for free with Elite or you get Elite free with the map pack.

I believe they said it slipped out of q2 (april-june) but they were still hopeful for this year though it could slip to Jan 2012.....which would be silly with ME3 coming out so I'm expecting sep-nov....to add to the ridiculous backlog of games in the end of the year

Personally, I'm really excited if it's true. I've wanted to play the game but I just don't want to sit at a computer after 10 hours of working on one....it's gonna be hard to play BF3 as good as that's gonna be on PC for that same reason. So I'll be all over this if it comes to consoles of any kind (360 or PS3)
I've got concerns but i'll still buy it barring horrible warning signs.....who knows, maybe a fresh face in the multiplayer will alter the formula enough to make it different but keeping it COD....ya never know
20 dollar credit + whatever skin they have is good enough for me to get it from Amazon...it helps it's the best skin imo

Look, I'm as excited as anyone for BF3 (trust me), but if you thought MW3 was gonna be any kind of a jump in graphics, you're expectations were too high or your just a COD hater
If anyone thought the graphics would be vastly improved or even greatly, they had too high of expectations and were probably haters of the franchise anyway. I expected the same engine though they need a new engine for BO2 or whatever is next.....I'll be interested to see what the multiplayer will be....
I know what toe xpect from the SP....a 4-5 hour thrill ride whose story is a bit less than clear.....multiplayer is what makes or breaks it for me....especially with all ...
MW2 has it's high points but it also has it's low in commando, oma, etc. (which they've said MW3 excludes)....
If they can keep that fun factor from MW2 while retooling the killstreak system and not be as bogus and hectic as MW2 while fixing the perks that sucked and balancing the rest/new ones....they couldh ave a great game on their hands.
