They seem to care about the consumers...even the petty childish ones....I kinda like DICE for it but at the same time, wish they would just say shut up and either play it or don't....
One thing to think about though is it is WAY easier to find a BC2 game these days on PC as all the times I've tried my 360 version, it was like 6v6 for about 3 weeks now. It's an important thing to think about but other than player count, I'm not sure how much you're missing out if you can't/don't want to play this on PC.

Well said.....I'm still debating on the console vs PC for this game as I won't need to upgrade my PC to run it on medium probably but I work 10 hours a day sitting at a computer and while I would buy the PC version normally, I'm not sure I wanna come home and sit on the computer for "fun" when I just did it for 10 hours.

My card is a 4850 and a quad core processor so I have no doubt I can beat the consoles but the question is by how much? Personally, I would rather play on a big tv and sit in a comfortable chair but BF3 is one of those games that makes me lean towards PC gaming from time to time

Seeing as how I've put 80 hours into Reach for a few months after it came out and I'm starting to get back into it...it's not horrible...you may not like it but I would hardly call it the worst halo game

I never played the earlier Nukem games as I just graduated college so a bit before my time but I've played 30 minutes of this one so far and am not impressed at all. I'll give it another go tomorrow but when faced with the quality of Infamous 2, Duke Nukem forever is awful....I'm glad I've got gamefly as it saved me 60 bucks

Go internet.....huge problems in the world but we're upset over something that people won't even notice in the long run when they reveal the multiplayer and actually play the game. If there's 40 weapons, no one will care you can't use one LMG at all unless they just want to.
Whatever internet, I preordered it 2 months ago before they announced the map pack....5 dollars must be hard to come by for people with internet....who knew?
It shouldn't be free....They're doing it as a reason to buy the game new and on release date so they get their money and add to the hype of the release....come on people
if you didn't know about this map pack at all, and they came out with 2 months after the game came out and charged 15 bucks for it, you wouldn't bat an eye at what's happening (say what they did with BC2: Vietnam).

This screams of similar boycotts like L4D2 and other games in the past....The "principle" that they are "standing up for" will be forgotten as soon as the multiplayer is fully revelead and the hype gets going and everyone will still buy the game.
I mean seriously, if a L4D2 boycott didn't hold (and it was a slightly more viable reason...kinda) a huge mega game like BF3 doesn't have a chance of holding up.....

That's pretty much BC2 which is better than MW2 imo by a lot.....knifing is so broken in that game it's basically disabled and there's no prone. I agree with ya though, but don't need to fragment the community s omuch
Well they've said there's more features that they haven't announced yet....which means they have something up their sleeves though I'm not sure what else they could add.....
After watching a trailer on this on Waypoint, I'm actually really excited about it. I dont' think it's gonna break into 2011 for me with everything else coming out but I will buy it for sure at some point
I don't think Armor abilities are that bad but I know they're gonna have classic playlists because of the all the controversy about them.
Also, they've been working on this for at least a couple years before they announced it (at least they said that in interviews) so a new engine isn't out of the question.
