Great, just great.....add to that to the list of games I want.
What do I do? Take advantage of great preorder offers getting each game for 40 dollars basically?
Or do I just buy Gears 3, BF3, SWTOR, Arkham City and maybe one more out of MW3, UC3, Skyrim and AC: R and then buy the remaining as I finish the games I purchased.
I mean, it's a good problem to have but come on EA....September would have worked just fine for me as a release mont...
Your telling me...I'm having to choose between some games not because I can't afford them, but I don't have enough time to play them. Curse the 45-50 hour work week.
It's kinda difficult choosing between games like SWTOR, Resistance 3, Skyrim, MW3 and even Halo: Anniversary (nostalgia may take a pass for the time being).
I guess I could just get all the preorder credits and have a giant backlog of games to last me past ME3 next year.

Good to hear....This went from a buy to a meh because it looked kinda meh the more I saw of it. The sad thing is even if I buy it starting with Gears the 3rd week of September and all thew ay through a ridiculous amount of releases including BF3, Arkham City, MW3, SWTOR, etc.....I wouldn't play this after Gears 3 came out.

There seems to be a lot of traction on the official site forums and a lot of evidence of at least a preorder date being announced.
Personally, I think the absolute best time for EA to release this sucker is September by a long shot (though I'm thinking it'll be later) for a couple reasons.
1) They don't want to take away hype from their other games in BF3 and even ME3 in the Spring (isn't Need for Speed coming out first two months of 2012?) ...
I just bought a 51" 1080p Samsung 3D plasma (that's a mouthful) for 1000 bucks. I've never bought a plasma nad won't set it up until tomorrow but I've always viewed Vizio as the Kia brand of TVs....They make decent TVs but there's a reason they are cheaper. My parents bought a 26" Vizio a couple weeks ago and I just got a chance to see it and the sound is very tinny (if that's a word) and kinda turned me off to Vizio.

There's a few ex-bungie brass over ther elike Frank and that programmer (Corianne Yu?) but she's basically the mother of Halo as I've been told. I'm a bit worried but nothing too crazy.

Stop the blind hate....stat tracking, clans, heatmaps, groups, etc is all free as I understand.
For paid sub, you get the map packs, playing for prizes, etc.

If I bought a physical copy from Amazon, does Origin let me register the game and then be able to download it from there if I ever need to or would it only be able to be installed by the physical disk? I was planning on using a 20 dollar credit on BF3 after Gears 3 comes out (also did DICE set a date that you have to preorder by to get the Karkand expansion or is it up until the day of release?)

Geeze, our education system really has gone downhill.....reading saves lives so learn how to do it.
It'll probably ship with 7 or 8 maps like BC2 and then the 4 from the expansion (like Panda said) which is fine with me. I still have fun on the same maps that released with BC2 way back when. Plus, there will be more DLC supposedly as DICE said they learned their lesson in dragging out DLC releases for too long
looks great but unforunately they might be going against SWTOR which I've waited for longer than Skyrim (didn't play Oblivion until late last year). There's not enough room for both of those games with the other ones coming out as well.
I will play it for sure next year
