This beta is a trainwreck. Glitches like not being able to spawn at the start, invisible enemies, not being able to finish a game and getting kicked, weapons not being picked up or not going to the wheel, lag (fine for a beta), matchmaking issues still.....
It was still unplayable for me last night. These aren't problems a beta should have minus lag and network errors. The bf3 alpha was way more stable for mevand its an alpha. This game comes out in less than 4 week...
eh kinda....it "works" in that I can find games but they're so unplayable due to the following glitches (not all at once necessarily)
1) LAG - it's everywhere but it's a beta so no big
2) the other team turns invisible....you die but no one is shooting you....
3) Can't spawn by pressing X....have to wait for the time to run down and you "might" spawn all together at the same spot.
4) Network error crashing the game h...
I know what you mean but everyone....AND I MEAN EVERYONE that I hear about the game from (on gaming websites like G4, IGN, etc.) love the game; including several people who were lukewarm on it like I am but came out of their hour long demo amazed.
I might pick it up. id certainly has the track record and the game looks amazing even on consoles

Right now it's SOCOM4 beta keys for US and Playstation+ for EU.
Insomniac will probably give more keys out when they get all the bugs under control a bit better
eh your probably right but I don't care enough to use a headset like turtle beach or anything....just enough to communicate on.....
I would rather have Surround Sound than a headset but that's me
eh hardly anyone uses it as it is....I agree it could help a team immensely if someone other than me used a mic

Um, no duh it looks like DLC since you've seen about 10 seconds of multiplayer with a piece of one map, one weapon, one pointstreak(Sure why not call it this?) and one death.
Obviously that makes up the entire game.

Not really because at least the people who play objectives would have a chance at streaks and not just the k/d people.....I agree with you but this helps even if that's not the case

Look, is COD the most revolutionary franchise anymore? Of course not. Does it have the best graphics? No; Is it full of immature kids? Absolutely
However, does it still hold some entertainment and fun value? It does (though it's starting to wear thin with me)
I plan on getting BF3 first (obviously with the release date and all) and picking this up at some point...
IF I have to choose one, I'll pick up BF3 this year because it's newer and I love me some BC2.
However, I haven't seen MW3 multiplayer yet and while I assume it to be the same dang thing that has come out the last 2 years, ya never know and I can't make a full judgement until then.

I could jus tnever get into Oblivion or ES3. No idea why....I think the controls felt clunky to me and more trouble than they were worth. I'm going back and forth on Skyrim as it's obviously more of the same but it looks pretty cool....just a matter of it plays like Oblivion or not

I'm literally planning out my purchases because of Best Buy's preorder 5 get $100 dollars in gift cards (RZ points to be picked up 30 days after last game) and all these amazon/walmart credits....not to mention Newegg's 24 hour deals where it's 20% off with a coupon code.
Crazy good deals but it makes my life more complicated trying to get the most for my money
Personally, I would say Uncharted. I grew up on xbox (well Super Nintendo, then the 64 and then the XBOX) so I just tend to gravitate towards it and its games more but I do love me some Uncharted.
I've got both consoles and I've played KZ3, Infamous 2 and Resistance 1 (most of it anyway) and they were all high quality but nothing captured me in pure fun like Halo did, or Mass Effect did (when it was exclusive granted) or Gears did in the beta....except Uncharted.
Holy football....it's a 6 year old game...MOVE ON PEOPLE.
It was fun but I don't see why everyone thinks it was the best game ever in the existence of football games. Have Maddens been improving substantially ever year? No, but then again that's why I buy it every other year. Sometimes I'll alternate with NCAA.....

I understand your point but 95% of the time when I buy a box and a manual, it sits in a corner or drawer somewhere because I don't care past the intial opening of the box. I'm fine with Origin because you don't have to have it open to play the game and it's one less thing I have to throw away because it's just in the way.
It was obvious personally. I love Origins and once I started I couldn't stop until I finished that game.
However, for Dragon Age 2, I saw the same dungeon or cityscape for the 30th time and realized the story just isn't engrossing so I dropped it. I'm about 15 hours in and just can't find the motivation to keep going.
This game is the first blip on the Bioware radar....I still trust them but it's wavering a bit
