No offense here but I'm confused....How is pushing their best and most popular franchises, expanding to the digital market and acquiring new talent bad? I know it's late but did I miss something?
I guess maybe the yearly business thing but I think they're saying they want to be selling a high profile game throughout the entire year and not in short stretches...again, you're complaining about that?

I can launch all my games that I bought with a disc without opening origin.....they're on my origin list but the client isn't required to play the game.
Crysis 2 and DA2 come to mind. Heck, I bought BC2 when it was just the EA store last fall and it's on the origin list. Even that game doesn't have to have to client open.
A lot of this EA hate is stupid....just call up their customer service and they will extend the time. If you know it'...

really? Like Sony isn't pumping money into Uncharted and God of War....they should be obssessed with it, it's their top selling exclusive that makes a bundle of money....
I might be involved in both of those numbers....I can neither confirm nor deny this....seriously though, the games are gonna be awesome when they finally release for crying out loud (looking at you SWTOR)
Heck, I got a 51" Samsung 3D Plasma the other day on sale for 1000 bucks with 2 glasses....There's better deals out there as I just think that display is too small of a size for 3D to really be effective. I could be wrong I guess

This game looks really cool but it's gonna get lost in the deluge of titles coming out this fall.
BF3, SWTOR, MW3 (keep your jokes to a minimum), Gears 3, etc....all have a place before RAGE. I plan on picking it up next year after I've gone through the backlog of games but there's just not enough time for it right now
As much as I hate gametrailers TV, they've had a series on combat facts and fiction and nearly everything depicted in MW2 is fiction and not realistic. So tell me how that's a training simulator.
It's absolutely awful what happened here and this guy will rot in jail (if they don't have the death penalty) and rightfully so. However, I just don't see how the game has anything to do with this. I've always said that it's people who drum up the ner...
Maybe that's a good thing...MW2 was fun but it had serious flaws.
Maybe a new set of eyes and ideas will be good for the franchise

Tempting....I'm excited for the game but with so many games coming out fall like BF3, MW3, Gears 3, Skyrim and last but not least SWTOR (I don't know that I would ever play it).
I'll probably wait until I get through the backlog of games I'll have this fall and hope it falls past that price by then. Good deal though if you don't have a plethora of games to play this fall
All they've said is Holiday 2011....seems to be two camps of rumors.
One says early October and one says Early November.....real exact I know but Holiday 2011 is the only official date we have

Battlefield 3 has been in development for 4-5 years (partially because FB2 but still). ME2 is one of the best games this gen to people who don't nitpick and take the game for what it is....
Gaming is changing, either adapt or whine like you are...either way, your not changing anything. I'm not saying I love the direction gaming is going necessarily but if it goes too far, I'll stop and get a different hobby...
