They're really not. In my opinion, they've put out 2 top notch stories with AC2 and AC: Brotherhood and I've heard the same about AC: Revelations. The one thing AC has over games like COD or Madden is story and not just gameplay and in that they've delivered.
They've added new mechanics every year and so far I've loved all of them. Assassins Creed is the one yearly franchise I don't think twice about buying as they've all been solid and I e...
Picked up CEA and the campaign is amazing so far through the first hour...I played through it before but it just seems so much better with the updated graphics
I also played Hang Em' High and wrecked.....I forgot how fun Halo MP can be with the Call of Dutys and Battlefields of the world out there. I'm thoroughly impressed so far as they obviously took great care with this game. Remake or not I'm less worried about Halo 4 and 343 now.
Give me ac3 next year...take a break and develop a new engine and deliver ac4 in 2014. That's my take on what they should do
Please explain how. Yes, it's similar but it's a sequel, not a new IP or storyline but there are differences as it plays a bit slower and I haven't raged once in an hour and a half of play which beats my old record of 2 minutes in MW2 so I'm loving it so far
Wait arny, you thought a direct sequel to MW2 would be different than MW2? I'm confused....Will Black Ops 2 be completely different to Black Ops?
Just a thought
Sorry, ME3 will win for me. I never played Diablo 2 (fully intend on picking up 3)
hey can we use a different term other than sheep? I've got a predetermined idea of sheep and aggies...it's something I'm working on forgetting (bonus points to those who understand the joke).
No seriously though, stop overusing the word...make them goats or something.
I see both sides of the debate here and quite frankly I don't give a crap as I can afford whatever games I choose or choose not to buy. If I can't afford it, I don't bu...
Exactly....this is the one game where I don't care about winning percentage (because no one else does) and I have no qualms about leaving any game at any time if frustration sets in.....
eh, the first one is like ten bucks now plus I played it again after playing AC2 and I couldn't get through it. The gameplay has come a LONG way between now and then
It does seem like they're running out of the ideas if they're touting adding pandas into the game as a good thing....there's only so much a universe can be fleshed out
You know Modern Warfare 3 will be a candidate on name alone but my GOTY so far is Batman: Arkham City....It's just such a well put together game.
I haven't played UC3 though I will next year when I work through some other games (sorry not a fan of it's MP and I've got enough SP games to play this fall with Skryim and AC:R still out there)
If COD gives you new weapons, 5 brand new gigantic maps and a whole new atmosphere (at least in BC2: Vietnam and I imagine a few of these expansions).
Then yes, but seeing as how COD doesn't do that and gives you either 4 new small maps or 3 new small maps and 2 old small maps.
It's not quite the same thing...oh and I get the first one for free
Not even Valve are angels....they've had the same engine for nearly a decade but no one cries about it like they do with COD or Halo which amazes me
I love me some Valve but geeze
They'll have it fixed in a week or so...BC2 was like this too and now it's the best multiplayer experience on consoles (imo) but I haven't played BF3 on consoles yet either
Thanks for the reply....I figured out some of the issues and my card can play it on low without me having to pay 200 bucks to upgrade so I'm happy with that.
I will 64 does make a difference...everything just feels more alive (you die more but there's more action)
How do the consoles play? Not server wise but gameplay wise?
Does anyone think they are missing out by not having the bigger maps or player count?
PC is annoying with me more issues than I care to deal with and my friends play on 360 so I'm thinking of getting it for 360.
I enjoyed BC2 on consoles (played it 30 hours and played 30 hours on PC too) for reference.
I've got a AMD Quad Core 9950 (2.66 Ghz)...It's a 3 year old computer but if I have to buy a new processor, I probably need a new mobo and at that point, I'll just buy it for consoles return the 560 and roll with my 4850 for Diablo 3 (should run it) and SWTOR (again, should run it...unless I'm just missing the mark)
I've never been a huge fan of paying 200 much less 300 or more for only one game that really needs it
Oh, I've got temps...
I wish I could see the retail version of this game. I'm trying to decide atm whether medium to high settings on a gtx 560 is worth 200 bucks for the graphics card I just bought. I've only got a couple friends on live that bought this but it would be nice.
Then again, does the 64 players just a deal breaker? Wish we got a retail demo for these purposes (understand about the beta but it's not the finished thing)
Good game but I forgot I had it....too many awesome games this fall for crying out loud
Is it hard to find those? As blasphemous as it sounds, I was never the treasure hunting type in games.....is there one in each level or how are they laid out?
