Sony sold 77,000 HS units in the first week, according to VGChartz (which is strangely what they looked at to figure that stuff about the 360), and nearly every single gaming publication praised the game despite it being short. They said this game "didn't impress". WHERE is this site getting ITS figures from?

Secondly, they seem to just take Microsoft's word on the shortages, and are confident that they will rebound. They not ONCE mention that the Wii has had shortages ...

How much you want to bet it was that stuff about the Bar looking like Hiroshima when he was through with it had something to do with this...

...I meant that I have played video games my whole life, not the 2600 my whole life (don't think anyone would make that assumption, but I'm doing this just in case someone was thinking of it).

Funny blog here. Had my share of quitters before, both on Rock Band and Guitar Hero (had someone skip on me on the EASY version of Through The Fire And Flames before it even began).

Only thing that I would have to say about the DLC that may differ from your POV, though: Not everyone has the same music tastes. I may like the Serj Tankian track (LOVE the name of that track, BTW...can't say it here because it's KIND of obscene), but not everyone else will want anything to do with it...

...is staying innovative. If you go the tried and true way of doing things, you are going to be really familiarizing your franchise, but pretty soon, you'll become a bore because everyone will know what to expect, and you won't be able to keep people interested by adding some new elements to a familiar formula. You have to sometimes take a chance at something if something is going that route.

Though at the same time, you don't want to go TOO out of the way of what has made the se...

Weird phrase, even if we DO know where they're getting at.

But still, I don't think Aerosmith is THAT bad of a band. Dream On WAS one of the songs I was wanting them to put on GH4. As long as they pick the very GOOD songs. From the GI article I read, they might pick some good songs.

And, out of all of them, the only one I really would be interested in before going to listen to any of them is the Beck song (even though if you get E-Pro, you better put Loser on there ...

For one, I'm one of those people that gave your bubbles the "death penalty", but it's not because you had a pro-MS opinion. That is yours, and you are certainly entitled to it (though I doubt I will get through, since I now got two ignores, and I believe you're it).

The penalty, as you wanted to call it, is that you labeled EVERY SINGLE PERSON who dared to have a different opinion as a fanboy. For one, I have blasted PS3 fanboys, as well (you know the difference between...

Here's what is the frenzy: Microsoft is trying to do a CYA, not like what Sony tried to do when they were so far behind.

For one thing, and let me get this out of the way now, for you to come on here and label anyone who has a differencing opinion than your own a fanboy or a sh*t talker is way ignorant. No one claimed to exactly know the supply line of ANY manufacturer. But from common sense, we can see some various things that can tell us that something is off about the entire t...

More like N4Loser.

It's nice to know that you blast people for having a different opinion than your own. And that you wasted all your bubbles doing so (NOTE: GIVE ME BUBBLES, PEOPLE, PLEASE!! :) )

And it's obvious that you're the one that didn't read that article, because you're saying that it HAS to be a shortage, it HAS to be what Microsoft said it was because you said so, they said so.

Look at the figures for 2006-07. They was no shortage claim THERE,...

DAMN, some people don't know what the phrase "open mind" means.

Thanks, and I like your explanation. I just wish you were wrong because it's a damn shame things work out like the way you said it (the "I wanna fit in" line. So cheesy for people to want to think like that).

It's the games that sell a system. You can have all the specs you could ever think to have, but if you don't have anything to USE those specs with, you're done.

Here was my main issue: That, by making these statements that are so untrue anyone could se...

I have one problem with your argument (which is a good argument, but considering this, it has a flaw):

Many people have been buying the 360 until recently, when they have begun to buy the PS3, and both systems have not even gotten close to that magic number in price. The Wii is close, but it is hardly a cheap system, though it's putting up unheard of numbers.

But you do have an excellent point in that we'll probably see those numbers jump considerably once you hit th...

Wow...you'll probably won't see this since you're prolly the one person that is ignoring me (or maybe its IYM, don't really care), but you obviously took the time to read this to post this, so I wouldn't quite say that if I were you.

1) I never claimed to a bias.
2) I said in 2008. You're still in 2007, apparently. No one is arguing that the 360 has a good year last year. But we're talking about 2008.
3) No one right now is saying that MS should raise the white flag, but with what they have been saying lately, you'd think that they were close to it. They need to stop spinning the facts, like I've mentioned here, or else people will start (and right now are) thinking they are desperate.
4) I'm a Keith Olb...

I may do another blog about how MS has been lying or spinning things for a good bit of the year so far.

Basically put, they are not dead yet, but if they don't stop saying stuff like this and just fess up, they might be.

Stop lying to us that the RROD is fixed, stop lying to us about what all about GTA4 you actually have exclusive and how BIG you think it might be (and stop telling your "were we really there" people at The Bluffbag and your "back pocke...

Nothing wrong with telling us the facts.

And, at the risk of sounding like a PS3 fanboy, it is true that MS has been saying a TON of BS lately about the 360 (what they actually have exclusive and what they actually agreed to, the reason why NFD figures are saying what they are, how "low" the RROD issues are, the gaff that was the custom 360 being erased, the reason for the Live issues during the holidays, their denial about the Blu Ray disc format, that they never cared...

You DO know that N4G isn't responsible for us posting stories, do you? They just provide the system for us to post the stories.

WE'RE the ones that post stories, WE'RE the ones that approve or report a story, WE'RE the ones that are commenting on the stories, WE'RE the one giving others kudos if we like the stories and/or comments.

Just what in that is N4G's fault?

And besides, like I said above, why does every story have to be a hard news story that i...
