what else could it have been (outside of a storm over there)? The servers didn't just crash on their own?
I called you a dumbass because you weren't even thinking about what exactly the article was saying. Everyone else EXCEPT YOU did. It's not "name calling" if it depicts the truth of how you're making it out to be. You're twisting things around and insulting our intelligence, basically saying in one sentence that they are discussing fiscal years then in the very next sentence tell us they are discussing calender years. Which version of the year do you want us to go by? There's a few t...
There is also a voucher to download Pain for free (I previously didn't know this was to be included, so it was a shock to me to see THAT in there, too). I personally haven't played or DLed Pain, but it seems to be rather popular (given the amount of DLC they put on PSN for the game), so that could be a little inch in the right direction.
EDIT BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO SPEND ANOTHER BUBBLE RIGHT NOW:
This site that reported it: PS3 Fanboy, is under the Joystiq umbrella. Joyst...
....it speaks volumes about how good this bundle is selling. Even if the servers didn't crash (and I personally think we're overestimating powers of some servers. In my experience, even big servers can have crashes from things like this. Depends on how they went about accessing the site and at what time they did, and if they try to get on at the exact same time), it's still selling out, which means that SOMEONE is buying them.
Did you not read anything of the article, or what I had said? You're basically trying to make us confuse calender years with fiscal years and that. This article was CLEARLY making reference to fiscal years (which the alt sources confirmed that Rockstar DID say it was delayed, something you said above that they didn't, and besides, you're taking MS's word over anyone else's anyway), and because the fiscal year DOES include the first month of the following calender year, the article, again, is ...
By the way, there have been 360 fans on this site that have pointed to the notion that they are not THAT psyched up about these 2 exclusive episodes. This delay (which this comment you made went sort of off topic and DEFINITELY brought a fanboy argument into it) only furthers the risk of more 360ers going that route. And you're going to lose the "PS3 won't get any GTA4 DLC" argument anyway (many trying that have), so maybe you should quit THAT try while you're ahead.

Yeah, and then it would bomb BIG time because it was too rushed, and then R* won't want to make ANY other DLC for ANY system because they got shafted by MS (or, GASP, give that alleged 50 mil back and let PS3 in on theses 2 exclusive episodes, although I know I'm going to hear it about even verbalizing that suggestion). If MS really IS treating R* good, they'll let them have the time they need to get this right. And again, this is sounding like you WANT T2 to do something that can make MS wan...
...hate to break it to you...but sometimes...games, kinda...can get delayed.
Schedules DO change. Things DO happen that causes games from all systems to get delayed however long it is. Just because you read something that is outdated doesn't mean that this story, which came out yesterday/today, is a fake. And you're saying MICROSOFT said that, anyway. Since when have you seen MS get ANYTHING right about this game?
TO THE OP:
If anything, I see this article as b...
....he HASN'T!!
And THEY haven't gone that route.
PLEASE stop blaming one group as if they were the absolute only group of people that behave like that while everyone else just KNOWS how to act. To me, at least, I've seen a BUNCH of 360 fanboys acting the same way (since you, and 1st Knight because he did that shifting the blame BS that I've already commented on, opened the door, let's enter it for a moment).
Can we PLEASE stop this...this is NOT just S...
Did you really HAVE to turn this into a finger pointing match? This is ALL fanboys, not just a select group of those that you're saying does this. I mean, I could've just as easily said "look at all the 360 fanboy idiots on here and you'll see the point this article was making." But that isn't true because it's not JUST those fanboys.
Again, why the hell did you have to shift blame to JUST one select group, since it's not like any fanboy for any other system is exactly ...
They said they didn't want them discussing WHICH scenes were the long ones. They had every right to say that the scenes might be long, but keep their mouths shut about the content of said scenes. Much of what they did was to keep spoilers from going on (besides the product placement thing which was basically something that was beyond their control, sensitivity and how overreaching some companies are about that would force Konami to do THAT one).
Keep in mind something else, too: ...
All you have to do is to look at the current Viacom/YouTube mess and the legal issues YouTube had to find out that not every company enjoys free press. I don't know why they wouldn't, but you never know what companies wanted what in exchange for someone using their logo in a game or whatever.
Actually, there have been controversies all over the place about copyright laws over stretching and overprotecting the the companies and not protecting consumer rights at all. Companies are...
Is that their contracts with these people who are allowing their names to be placed in the game restrict Konami from letting reviewers say anything about that. This is understandable given the sensitivity of copyrights and that. Basically, it's something Konami HAS to do to not be in trouble with these guys. We've said there was a scene in which Snake is listening to an iPod, but that doesn't necessarily mean that the MP3 player he has in his pocket or whatever is in fact the iPod brand of MP...
+ Bubble for you...good one there...
...sounds EXACTLY like something Colbert would say.
...that the PS3 DOES support moving stuff like game saves, music files, and video files from the PS3 to a Memory Stick DUO and vice versa (in which a slot for those is ON the PS3. Lift up that little flap beside the disc slot), and that the HDD on the PS3 is fully replaceable and is allowed under warranty (you could just place a terebyte HDD in there and they won't care. Whether or not they are compatible with them is another story, but most HDDs are).
So the "we are runnin...

...you have one bubble. You fail to help any PS3 defender be creditable when you put THAT rubbish.
...just made this thing all the more confusing.
Just what DID this guy hear and find out?
Maybe the restrictions were "actually REVIEW the GAME instead of the BS that you guys usually do to try to mark down a PS3 exclusive game just because it's not on the system you like to stick your junk into every night."
Umm...WHY?
If this was "caused" by a 360 game, you'd be believing it up and down without even a second thought.
Something tells me the 360 fanboys want to hide THIS development, too. Face it, folks, this PS3 game is going to sell systems, sell millions of standalone copies, and basically change the face of the console war. The install base is basically going to change BIG time by June 12th. This is evidence of that.
And even if it wasn't the sole reason of the crash ...
