...just to show that I don't think T2 was going for that. They had PS3 code on the 360 disc and refused to budge to the rumors that they were even considering a PS3 port. T2 is one of keeping rumors at bay most of the time (MS wouldn't shut up about GTA4 DLC, so R* HAD to say something about the "most likeliness" of exclusive PS3 GTA4 DLC). I don't think this is just a "oh, we have to do this now to keep EA down." They had this planned for a WHILE.
...who complains everytime there is a positive PS3 story (it's suddenly "spam").
Seriously, do you say the same thing when you see a Sony PR saying something? I didn't think so.
And ditto to whoever said that Kim has done more than just talk good about his company. He has skewed facts, blasted the other companies for doing things and then turning around and doing the same things themselves.
Like I said before, Davis, you REALLY need to get out ...
...that much-used phrase "epic fail" anymore.
They "don't care about Sony's games division"?
So they HAVEN'T been ripping on Sony every chance they get, right?
Seriously, dude, have you READ the internet outside of your own little world? You REALLY need to visit a site other than your own. You call other people "bitter", when you take the time to blast ANYONE who dares calls MS on their BS. You call us "bitter", wh...
Yet the rumor keeps coming back?
Those were back in 07, when the game was THE game on the 360, and they discovered PS3 code within the game. At the time, there was no plans for a PS3 version, but it was obvious the option would be there for them to go for it.
Now it is 08, and the rumors about it continue to pile on week in and out, this time with no denials. Only the 360 fanboys who for some reason still fear that they will "lose an exclusive" are worried ...
...then I'm SOOO f'n interested! :P
How about the Vietnam war.
Or, if you really want to be risky, the current war in Iraq (because no one agrees with that war and it might be too touchy of a war to make into a game).
But glad it won't be WWII again.
It's simple right now: If you put GTA4, PS3, and DLC in the same sentence, all the 360 fanboys are going to get up in arms over nothing.
I seriously don't know what else they need to hear to have it confirmed for them that the PS3 will have GTA4 DLC support.
This is just what happens when you put GTA4, DLC and PS3 in the same sentence. Every Xbox fanboy gets all up in arms over nothing.
...there would be at least one person who was going to try to discredit this that way...because, this is pro-PS3, after all.
(Oh, and if you disagree with this, then you're obviously a 360 fanbot).
Wow, this is just what we should've came to expect from people who see GTA4 and DLC in the same sentence. They come out and they try to explain their cases about who is getting what, what everything will be, and getting lost in a sea of lies from the lunatic fringe that seem to want for us to believe only what they want us to believe instead of what the people at the company that has been making the game has said about it. You guys REALLY need to STFU about all of this, because none of you ar...
You have something to say?
Or one of the nominees, at least, Olbermann HATES Glenn and has given him the award a LOT of times (second only to Billo). This might get a mention.
ROFL at the people that are trying to say that the PS3 won't get any DLC?
I'm still wondering how people are actually proving that, or getting that R* actually came out and said "no PS3 DLC for GTA4".
Remember, as well, that Rockstar is known to do stuff like that (hidden messages in its games).
By the way, the GTA3 name for the Liberty City Fire Dept.: LCFD.
I don't think this was just a coincidence.
...that N4G.com is officially endorsing Obama for president, because we all are (me included).
I made a video about Hillary, I think I should share it with you.
...when the last media consolidation issue was passed by the FCC, but the biggest person in the cable TV industry, Ted Turner, sided against that proposal and expressed concerns against it (even when it would've benefited him, as well)?
This sounds an awful lot like that. Activision does have something to lose because of a merger like EA/T2, but they also seemed to be seriously concerned about the other issues that merger could bring.
It's looking more like Activisi...
...because I agree with the people that are saying that this has nothing to do with any system war. Remember that Final Fantasy XI is out for the 360, and that both Nintendo and Sony both are main consoles for the FF brand.
I disagree with this article's assessment, but llamback, I think the GTA4 war with everything about this DLC (EVERYTHING imaginable when it comes to that is being argued left and right, with TONS of attacks) is getting to you and making you think this will be ...
Bubbles for you, because you actually are someone that makes SENSE in this (I gave you an agree too to offset that disagree, because...well, who WOULD disagree with that besides the lunatic fringe that is the 360 fanboys that somehow WANTS the PS3 to get no DLC?). I agreed with EVERYTHING you said.
Even if 50 mil wasn't a drop in a bucket, I don't think R* would be that f*cking stupid to sign into as restrictive of a contract as has been thought of by said lunatic fringe. Plus, ...
Yeah, could we please get proof that MS is letting R* decide the cost?
Or, for that matter, ANY of the crap you 360 fanboys are spewing about the DLC? Because, well, you 360 fanboys seem to no more than anyone else here ABOUT it.
EDIT: While you're at it, prove the crap you spewed on 15.1, as well, because I've yet to find anything that says they have more than what was offered.
What contract are we speaking of? Because last I checked, the 50 mil was for 2 exclusive episodes for the 360 and nothing more, and they cannot stop Rockstar for doing anything similar for Sony (it was reported that Rockstar asked Sony for 400 million for a similar offer, so I think Sony would've came out and said "wait a minute" if that offer was for less for more). You guys still think there is some secret contract out there that has all these safeguards out there and that 50 mil ...
...you DO realize that EA hasn't exactly BOUGHT T2 yet, do you?
