"...he also mentions the possibility of more downloadable PS-One and PS2 games on the PlayStation Store."
Hmm...
...get Wild Arms 2 onto the PSN Store and I'll be happy.
Listen to the amount of lies that MS said. They really dropped the ball when they talked about GTA4, they dropped the ball about the RRoD, they dropped the ball with trying to fix said issue, they dropped the ball with hiding why they are behind the PS3 in sales right now.
Right now MS is in a bit of a talespin. They should start pushing their other games that are coming out this year and stop being so dependent on GTA4.
As for Sony, most of the stuff that we know is...
It brings in an Accomplishment system that's like XBL's system, only you actually get something for Home (I think this is what they were saying) when you do certain things in a game.
That alone should be enough. The PS3 will get an accomplishment system when Home comes.
...you didn't mind it when a techspy article was approved (TWO of them were before) that trashed the PS3 on anything and everything?
I agree...though I assume you know about his sarcasm.
For those who might not know what 5.1 is talking about: The techspy blog. Just go to http://techspyblog.blogspot... to see this idiot in action (I'm calling him techspy because that's the only name we have for him, since he posts as "anonymous"). He complains about EVERYTHING PS3 in trying to say that the 360 GTA4 will be superior (he thinks he started t...
...we should ignore people for approving something that was apparently well thought out and well written?
You should SEE some of the crap about this game that the 360 fanbots have been approving (i.e. that whole Techspy crap). Oh, how many ignores have you gotten, and HOW many bubbles do you have right now over them?
And all of those people give some pretty valid points on here, anyway. I'd trust something that Dora said over something that you said anyday of the wee...
...you fueled the 360 fanboys with the crap YOU told us MS said about their "exclusive content" (that you STILL believe like a pathological liar despite the contrary being said countless times)? We know PS3 will get Home integration and that it's obvious no one is stopping Rockstar from making PS3 DLC because every top guy from Rockstar were talking like there already was without any viable correction.
Seriously, you tried similar stuff with the 360 version and got knoc...
That on the board vg247 got this, he only said "he got a memo".
Not sure why they would delay a PS3 version for no reason...though I don't have to worry...I live in the states and already have Rock Band.
And thus, we all now see how wage gets his bubbles popped.
Actually, all we've been hearing about the 360 right now is "exclusive episodic content for GTA4 on our system" like it's the absolute only thing that the 360 has left to its name right now (and it's not like that's the only thing Rockstar will ever make to extend GTA4's longevity).
Now...PLEASE get Earthbound released on the VC!
Hell, get ALL the Mother games translated and over here. THOSE will be THE games that sell the VC!
#9 is a good idea if executed right. Have the Havoc people do something like that and you'll be good to go.
It's #4, however (that Epic called the 360 obsolete) that has the best chance of actually happening if this trend of the PS3 getting massive sales and games starting to push the PS3 somewhat. MS might want to be careful there.
Patent isn't the same thing as a copyright.
A patent protects the actual invention, not the idea. Sony has all the right in the world to do what they want as far as custom soundtracks. However, they would have to respect the patent if they did so, similar to how they would've had to respect the Immersion patent for the rumble technology they were using. If the patent extended to the idea of any rumble technology, then they wouldn't be able to use it at all, or respect such patent...
...and this is going to be probably the only time when Torrence will LIKE for his site to be CALLED that from me. ;)
I wanna see that whole thing.
EDIT: Nevermind. I found it: http://www.ps3attitude.com/...
And they are right. You can't patent the idea, just the way to do it. Like if someone patents a certain kind of toothpaste. Everyone else can still invent other kinds of toothpaste, but to use that particular way to make it, you would have to respect the patent. It doesn...
some of you guys need to really learn how to take a joke.
Anyone else think that it's because they didn't want one platform to get it ahead of the other (or too far ahead) because of the PSN Store redesign?
...so I'm not worried about one system doing better than the other.
But I don't think this guy really knows what he's talking about.
There's one more thing he forgot to mention about the PSP: REMOTE PLAY WITH THE PS3! Though it has kinks in it, if you can get a good internet connection when seeking for one, it's actually DAMN GOOD!
"MS will put things in order."
They should have done this a WHILE back. It doesn't seem like the PS3 is going to slow down anytime soon. The console they will pick for GTA4 will more or less be the same console that will have more coming to it later on after GTA4. This means the PS3, since they will get Home, MGS4, LBP, they already have GT5P, a VERY possible superior version of Guitar Hero: Aerosmith (if Activision didn't lie to us about liking the PS3 technology more;...
I believe that Rockstar is going to give the PS3 something big in that field. They have said to not worry about them gimping the PS3 owners on anything, they have no obvious reason to not do that (unless you want to throw around that 50 million dollar point again), and Rockstar has basically SAID they are planning on it.
I see no reason to worry about the PS3 not getting any DLC. I can see why Sony or their fans aren't too worried about it.
