It was a pretty underwhelming game overall...took me like 6 hours to beat, and most of it was QTE driven.
But hell, for $10, go for it.
I enjoy the game play, but releasing this game with such a small amount of content is a tough pill to swallow. It too bad, really, to have lack of content be the reason why a solid game gets a lot of negativity.
Ironic coming from someone with one bubble...
Anyway, this is a video game forum, if I want to point out the fact that COD is a repetitive annual release, well, then, I'm going to point it out, whether it hurts your feelings or not. Simple fact is, Activision feeds us the same shooter every year. In fact, we've become so complacent as a gaming community, Activision now has three companies making the same game over and over and over, and we still buy it! Its gross, ...
unreal...wow. This guarantees we will continue to receive the same old COD game for the next 5+ years. Why change the same old formula if sheep are going to continue to buy it. I just don't get people.
This generation has been one big boring rehash of old ideas, sprinkled in with remasters.
I mean...it looks solid...but this headline is a bit of an overstatement. It appears to be roughly on par with Until Dawn, and maybe not even quite as good as that.
People need to calm down about yet another remake.
stop devoting resources to remakes. We're over two years into the PS4's life cycle, its time to ease up on the remakes/remasters and start putting out some new content.
Too bad, I wasnt expecting such a poor review to be honest. I really enjoyed the beta quite a bit. Seems like the biggest problem with this game is its lack of content/maps.
I agree with the article...the graphics are not particularly good.
Agreed. The Last of Us 2 is going to look amazing - especially now that they are familiar with the console. With Uncharted 4 under their belt, Naughty Dog is going to be able to push the PS4 that much further.
yeah, looks like crap. But, it is pre-alpha so we'll see.
My 500P's are solid. The battery life is truly excellent.
Certainly making me a bit jealous. I loved the last game and would love to get my hands on this one right now instead of waiting.
Honestly, I think the graphics and gunplay look kinda lacking. I know its open world and all, but still.
Why would anyone downvote someone when they say they wish Tomb Raider was releasing on the PS4 tomorrow as well?
I wish this was releasing for PS4 right now as well.
No. Battlefront is more immersive, fresh, dynamic and exciting.
I'd be willing to be Halo 5's mp is better too, though I haven't played it yet and cant say with any measure of certainty.
Anyone thinking this game is going to be all that different from BO2 is going to be disappointed. It's not.
Doesn't mean it's a terrible game, it just means it's predictably COD. No wheels have been reinvented here, that's for sure.
I don't think Activision will do away with the three-tiered development cycle on an annual basis. Thats their prerogative I suppose, and I don't necessarily blame them as people continue to buy this franchise en masse.
That said, sales are certainly declining with each successive release. I would expect that trend to continue until Activision is forced to attempt some measure of honest innovation. At which point, it may be too late for them.
If...
Agreed.
it take it from the downvotes, you meatheads think the Order was good? There's no fricking objectivity on N4G...
