Regarding multiplayer, whats the point getting a PRO if there are no visual improvements. They could at least improve resolution, if not the frames per second. You really mean to tell me you're going to drop $400 for upscaled 4K, a few more frames, and maybe some slightly sharp...
The texture gains are minimal. You look at the PS4/PRO side by sides of Tomb Raider and tell me - in all honesty - there is a major graphical difference. You and I both know the difference is minimal. Everything I have seen thus far alludes to that. I dont see any point in buying the Pro. It doesn't have a UHD player, it wont play games in native 4K unless they are smaller scale indie games, and it will not improve multiplayer performance, merely single player. If you have no intention of buying VR - which I dont - then whats the point of getting a Pro? There doesn't seem to be any point at all...perhaps HDR gaming? I guess that could entice some, but I personally dont see it as reason enough to drop $400 dollars. Not to men...
I've put so many hours into TLOUits scary. Maybe the only other games I put more time into were Halo 2 and Cod 4.
the 360 controller was amazing back in the day. Personally, I find the PS4 controller nearly flawless.

I have to laugh...a 7!?!? All I saw leading up to the release of this game were articles everywhere praising the story, the graphics, the campaign, blah blah blah. Then it goes and gets a mediocre 7. Perhaps an outlier score? Hilarious either way.

Sort of, yes. In my opinion, its a stupid omission for a console that purports to be 4k capable. Sony likely excluded it to minimize costs and maximize system specs for $400.
Wow, it is VERY close. PC still has slightly better textures and lighting, but not by much at all.
