Problem is, gaming on a 4K TV kinda sucks. The input lag is pretty noticeable. My monitor is 4ms and it blows my Samsung 4K SUHD TV out of the water in terms of response times, even when the TV is in so called "Game Mode." I cant even play BF1 on on my TV, its that bad. I never noticed how much of a difference monitors made until this past year. Its literally night and day. As such, I'm holding off on a PRO/Scorpio purchase until someone makes a 4K HDR monitor. There aren...
Dice deserves the accolades. BF1 is a great game. A technical marvel really. The Frostbite engine is incredibly dynamic, and it just keeps getting better.
Amazing gains? LOL
So in other words...it wont run in 4k. lol
I dont see any difference, other than HDR killing the shadows and making the game look flat.
Its not native 4k though, right? Checkerboard?
I think BF1 is great. I havnt played TF2 yet.
wtf is this crap? The game is just fine...my God everyone is so God damned sensitive its silly.
You have to be kidding...Colin Farrell sucks.
this is some pretty terrible writing. Battlefield 1 is "submersive"? lol
Thats a very dismissive comment. I care.
They dont need to call it quits, but perhaps a semi annual release would suffice, rather than an annual.
Not necessarily. It the job of certain people to write articles - both good and bad - about all things video games. It's what they do.
Seeing the amount of success DICE is having with a WW1 setting, I'm sure Activision will now green light a WW2 shooter.
this type of game would look great with HDR and wide color gamut.
Yeah, I'm about half way through the campaign and I've gotta say, its frigging intense. That charge up the Alps in full armor was incredible. The game really is hyper realistic. Its kind of scary.
You guys make it sound like people cant express their opinion of the PRO if its even remotely critical. Good lord, its the vociferous defenders of this console that need to relax. Not everyone is going to think like you - believe like you - or be like you.
Its ok for people to be skeptical of the PRO. Jeez. Its just an opinion, not the end of the world.
In my opinion, its not a "significant" difference as some have stated.
too realistic? Whaaa?
As far as 4k TVs go, yes 21ms is great. I've been thinking about getting this TV myself. I still think I'm going to wait for an HDR monitor.
