My sentiments exactly. I grinded through it; I eventually skipped all cutscenes and side missions and just got it over with as fast as I possibly could.

On to the Witcher III next.

Zigg, face it, its going to 2019 or 2020. What dont you get, the X is going to be substantially more powerful than the Pro. Sony has little choice but to release by 2020 the latest...or they risk falling too far behind the tech curve.

I love how I said PS5 in 2019-2020 and everyone on N4G completely bashed me...saying that was FAR too early.

Based on this article, it seems just right....

I have no problem being in the minority...

I knew this message board was going to explode with a bunch of whiny fanboys. You guys jump all over people - routinely - for expressing critical opinions on anything Sony. Newsflash, Sony isn't perfect, and constructive criticism is a necessary means to improvement for all products.

How did I get busted? All I said was I was skeptical because I thought Killzone sucked - that was my opinion. It is also my opinion that Horizon is overrated. Expressing an opinion is not akin to some pre-ordained plot to subvert a game's reputation... Fact is, I played both games, and didn't particular care for either....

I at least finished Horizon and would classify it as better than Killzone by a fair margin, but in my honest opinion, Horizon just doesn'...

Worthy goal.

Its only the best of games that can pull you into their living, breathing worlds. At least Microsoft is showing some dedication and initiative to gaming.

The PS4 cpu is basically a tablet cpu... compared to most any i5 or i7 processor from the last 3-5 years...it gets totally smoked.

I'm not a PC gaming enthusiast and I have an i7...You dont have to be an enthusiast to have a substantially more powerful cpu in a modern pc.

cant wait for TLOU 2.

absolutely...why not? Its more choice for the consumer? If you dont want it, dont get it.

2020 sounds plausible. Take notice, I said 2019-2020. If anything, the release of the Xbox One X will prompt Sony to move forward with their creation of the PS5. The One X is going to dominate the PS4/Pro in terms of graphical fidelity, leaving Sony with little choice but to get the PS5 out sooner rather than later.

As a loyal PS4 owner, I could have bought the Pro, but ultimately chose not to because the power upgrade is just not substantial enough to justify the purcha...

Ask yourself, what is the typical lifespan of a console? On average, its about 6-7 years - at least in terms of functional lifespan. Sure, many consoles last 9, 10, even 11 years, but the last 3-4 years of such consoles are generally afterthoughts, with the bulk of notable games transitioning to new, more powerful consoles.

The PS4 released in 2013, and with the above logic, we can expect the PS5 in 2019 or 2020. I think the PS4 will continue to receive support well into...

I guarantee they are making or at least sorting out the technical architecture of the PS5 now.

I'm fine with $499, if there's 24 GB of ram.

3184d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

people are talking about the PS5 because they have 4k/60FPS TV sets now...they want to be able to utilize them sooner rather than later. The PS4/Xbone isnt going to cut it.

3184d ago 1 agree2 disagreeView comment

no way. 2 years, 3 max.

3184d ago 0 agree4 disagreeView comment

You've yet to see a game that maxes out current gen? A bunch of games are already being compromised because the PS4 and Xbone are underpowered. Hell, I just played The Division on PS4, and it's nowhere near as sharp as the PC version. Developers are constantly having to sacrifice 60fps in games because of the CPU/GPU limits. Hell, dynamic resolution has become a "thing" this generation precisely because of limited horsepower.

I'd love to get a PS5 sooner rather than later. At this point, the Xbox One and the PS4 are extremely underpowered - at least in comparison to modern PCs. There is little denying the current generation of consoles is holding games back. While I love my PS4, I wouldn't mind gaming in 4K/60fps. I understand these consoles are expensive and people don't necessarily want to upgrade every 4-5 years, but I'm willing. Personally - and it's highly unlikely Sony will do this -...
