"Hardcore" fans and I use the word hardcore very lightly in most cases because all gamers are gamers... are all about the past and things that work. If you show them something about motion control or touchscreens or forbid mention mobile gaming they act out...

EA is scared... The only reason they talk to so much smack is they know CoD will still outsell them 2 to 1. Usually the person to talk more is the one who gets crushed.

You are not seeing the casual consumer. Why would I pay $250 for a gaming device when I can but an iPod for $199 and buy lots of games for $50.

I give vita 2 maybe 3 years to live by that time there will be new and easily better things and at a more affordable price.How you gonna have Vita cost the same as a PS3?? What does the normal consumer think?
Vita either needs to drop about 50 Euros or it will be crushed in sales.

People who think Sony can wait till 2015 at the earliest for the next generation must be delusional. It is last in overall sales and the software sells the least. Microsoft and Nintendo will smash Sony if they wait too long.
Of course Sony is not gonna say a PS4 is inbound because the sales for PS3 would halt. PS3 is not cutting edge technology like people really like to think. It came out a year later and is barely above Xbox 360 graph...
In ten years I predict Sony to be out of the gaming market of hardware and only making software(games). Apple and Google will invade the market and it will never be the same.
Um I'm not american so I don't have the same worthless american dollar as you do so to me the Vita is $400....
