This makes perfect sense. If you think Vita is only competing with the 3DS then you are sadly mistaken.
From a business standpoint the Vita should have already been out. The Vita is an interesting piece of hardware but will it have a market? Ideally, it should have been out about the end of 2010 or been what the PSP Go fiasco should have been.
iPad coming with a retina display.. Overkill might have to upgrade my iPad 1 for the new one coming out. All Apple really has to do is make game-pad and it would be a problem for other companies to compete.
To stop debating would require some sort of maturity and such things don't exist when it comes to gaming.
People act like they have to justify why they like a game or will buy.

What I have learned is I think a PS4 is inbound to grace our presence either end of 2012 or early 2013.

$400 is what it is when you exchange rate it from the weak US dollar to the euro or pound. It sucks to be in Europe...
Now you may be happy with that but the common folk won't pay a lot for a dedicated device when you can get an all in one product for the same or less money.
