1. To beat Xbox Live you are going to have to charge for it and that isn't going to happen.
2. To beat PSN you are going to have to be free (which you are) and offer everything they do on launch.
Now I think Nintendo online will be much improved but to say it will be on par or even superior to PSN and much more Xbox Live is bold. Even after a few years that will be a stretch as PSN and Live countinue to expand.
Of course they aren't ruining gaming it is really absurd that gamers have that in their mind.
If many people enjoy first person shooters then they aren't ruining gaming that is their genre of choice. Fun and addicting gameplay isn't ruining gaming.

Now that is more recent information. Non of these findings are and platform specific. Digital is coming and sure it may be an option but likely the better option as publishers may lower the price of games.

Sony products are expensive and the compeition caught up and had lower prices.
People aren't willing to pay a premium because the product has Sony on it anymore. It isn't worth it.
I don't know why they wouldn't add a SD slot. With only 6 GB of usable space you have to choose which apps you actually need. And some gaming apps are demanding.
If they actually did that before holiday season they would kill PS3 sales. There would be no need to get a machine in which the superior one has actually been announced with games.

No the streaming service doesn't mean the PS4 is here. They won't have PS4 games to stream. If that was the case there would be less of a reason to buy a PS4, bad business.
