It could happen, but next year looks simply too good to be true with the amount of releases. Many games will be delayed no doubt. With God of War Ragnarok most likely being one of them. Sony obviously announced it for next year to generate more PS5 hype and early adopters. 2021 is being extremely hopeful tbh.
70 bucks is really getting up there to the point where it may pay just wait for a price decrease. It’s really too expensive.
Walmart is getting more on the 22nd. Other retailers will likely have more rounds of pre orders too.
The way they handled the news yesterday is what is disappointing. After touting these games for months as experiences only available on PS5, they shoehorned in the announcement that they are cross gen AFTER the presser yesterday. Shady business indeed.
Finally managed to snag the standard edition after repeatedly smashing the place order button on Target’s website until the order went through.
A game being cross gen is great for consumers, but I still don’t see it as a true next gen experience until it’s made exclusively for next gen consoles. Like Demon’s Souls remake.
2021?! OMG
It will be infuriating if we don’t find out tomorrow. Sony has no reason to wait any longer. There’s two months until release and we now know the price of the Series X and S.
Nah, PS5 is just too good to pass up.
It won’t be if everyone cannot play it due to PS5 shortages.
I would definitely like to think it will happen sometime in September. October seems too late. September seems perfect.
Looks amazing. The best next-gen graphics I’ve seen thus far.
I wouldn’t be surprised if we are playing both on PS6.
TLOU 2 is the pinnacle of the generation, with RDR 2 and God of War coming in at second and third.
1. God Of War
2. TLOU 2
3. Uncharted 4
4. Horizon Zero Dawn
5. Uncharted Lost Legacy
Ghost of Tsushima will more than likely take Lost Legacy’s spot for me, but I have not finished it yet. These are my favorite PS4 exclusives.
Called it. Sony said PS5 will be the most customizable console they’ve released and those faceplates look like they can be removed.
It’s already looking bad for the Series X this holiday. PS5 will definitely be the console to beat and will most certainly have the highest demand. I don’t see Xbox picking up steam until another couple of years when their first party studios begin to release exclusives.
PS5 will be the top console because Sony has the gamer in mind and aims to please with unique experiences that give incentive to purchase. Something Series X won’t have for at least two years. Xbox fails to understand this and it really is common sense. Series X demand is going to be embarrassingly low compared to PS5.
Exactly. Voice work is usually done long before the most intensive parts of development. I’d give it another couple of years.
These are highly anticipated next gen consoles we are talking about. Pre orders will always be crazy and stock will always run out in the beginning.
