He’s talking at least three years away. That’s likely over half of the Series X lifespan. Looks like another lackluster generation for Xbox owners.
Story is very important to me in my games and even though V was a masterpiece I can’t help but like IV more. The story is better IMO. Focusing on Niko only allowed for more of an emotional impact. It was also longer and I like the driving mechanics better than V’s. 🤷♂️
The only games that I trust to pre-order are Sony exclusives. And that is usually always because there is some sort of pre order bonus that I want or a collectors edition. I got the Last of Us 2 collectors edition on launch day and I think it is worth it for that game.
The only reason Phil Spencer is suddenly a huge advocate for the “gamers shouldn’t have to choose a specific platform to experience a game” POV is because Xbox has been and will continue to be lesser when it comes to exclusives. 🤷♂️
Most polished game I have ever played and the amount of love that went into it is so obvious. I admire Naughty Dog’s bold direction with this one. That’s why I prefer this game over any Uncharted game or any other game Naughty Dog has released. The “good guy” always wins in those games and the people you love in the game always make it out alive. In this instance there is no good guy and you will witness the loss of very likable characters. And not just one, but no spoilers if you haven’...
I can give this game credit for being very unique with a LOT of stuff to do, but I can’t help but feel a bit disappointed coming off of games like TLOU 2 and Ghost of Tsushima. The game feels antiquated in many areas... almost like it belongs in the PS3/360 era.
Handheld gaming like this could take off if developers actually made games for the handheld. 🤷♂️
You have to wonder why CD didn’t recognize and declare years ago that the game is a next-gen only release.
Although I’m a Playstation 5 gamer, Xbox Series X does have exclusives next year. The Medium, Halo Infinite, and Scorn to name a few. And I suspect they will have many more in 2022.
Their games usually don’t go above 95 on metacritic.
It isn’t the games fault. It’s the developers decision to release for PS4 and Xbox One when the game is way too ambitious for those consoles.
I can’t think of any big problems that I’ve experienced on PS5. The biggest glitch I’ve encountered is my female V’s nails poking through gloves.
TLOU 2 is the most technically impressive game I’ve ever played. The polish is unmatched.
The game is too advanced for PS4 and Xbox One. It should have skipped those consoles and came out for next-gen when the patch rolls out next year. CD would have got a lot flack for it, but it’s just a fact. 🤷♂️
It’s a little unfair IMO that the reviews were based on code that nobody will be playing. A large number of the issues mentioned will be fixed with the day zero and launch day patches.
I have a strong hunch Ghost of Tsushima will win GOTY at a lot of game outlets. 😊
PS5 still has Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, Returnal, and Deathloop set to release in the first half of 2021. Not a huge loss.
The only thing I don’t like about the controller are the face buttons. They need more click. I can hardly tell I’m pressing them.
Would he say anything else? Lmao
I knew what #1 was without looking.
