Left-overs that are better than the first. That must suck for you. Why haven't you jumped out yet? I'm curious to see at E3 how this is looking.

It was a lot of work getting to the point I'm at in some games. I'm not sure I'd mind having a good excuse to do it again but I would prefer retroactive patches. Any thoughts?

It's worked well for me ever since the first Socom.
But they rest on R1 and L1 so it's faster to have those be the triggers.
It's always been R1 and now people want to change it. It's worked fine for years and when it's switched I keep pushing the wrong button and when I hit the right button it doesn't feel like I am hitting the right button. Leave it good ol R1 or best of all give the option to configure the buttons.
It's one of the main reasons I don't get a 360. No matter how many times I try to use it it's uncomfortable. I prefer the DS3 but to each his own I guess.
I don't like using the lower buttons. Just doesn't feel right. I'm too used to R1 maybe. R2 and 360 skinny trigger buttons are uncomfortable in my opinion.
But the best option is being able to configure the buttons any way you want. Haze at least did that right. Every game should give the option for any configuration you want, at least for shooters.
The fact that a few reviewers still gave MGS4 a bad score considering it was so highly rated by most others shows that those reviewers (who typically always hate on the PS3) are biased because they can't even give a truly great game a decent score. Secondly pretty much all multi-plats are rated better on 360 despite being the same on both at this point (at least for most multi's). The conspiracy and MS money are both very much alive.
More space is not needed remember. Isn't that the typical response from all bots to discredit blu-ray. DVD's are plenty of space as they are. You need to study the bot handbook again if you forgot this major argument point. This doesn't scare anyone but it does make your console even more outdated than before. Last-gen tech anyone?
Considering the game looks just as good if not better than the CGI trailer (especially the character models).
Even if you didn't think so it's not like any other console has a game that looks that good. Don't even try to throw geow2 out there because while it does look better than the first it does not compare to KZ2 on lighting, character models, explosions/particle effects and so many other factors.

I thought the game was great fun. It had some glitches but they didn't at all mess up the gameplay for me. Killzone 2 just looks too good to pass up. They have everything going to make a great game from the looks of it. Can't wait to see more of helghan.
Apparently someone hasn't been paying attention. The PS3 has been the most criticized console I can remember. By the way several sites ripped MGS4 hard 7/10 and even 6/10 from one. But yes for the most part it was rated highly. But I think KZ2 will be picked apart for every little thing and all the 360 fans will rag on it till the end. I expect the game to be great but the opinions to be highly varied.
This is a vast improvement. More fine-tuning on the way I'm sure.
LBP should bring a lot to the table.
This looks very COD4 reminiscent. Socom involves tactical combat and this just looks more like run n'gun. Either way I can't wait for it. They have polished it up a lot.
The price of the consoles does not concern me but the price of the games. They keep becoming more expensive and far surpass the price of the console. Less than 2 years after launch I have at least 10 games for my PS3 meaning I've already surpassed the console price. The games are what hits my wallet hard not the consoles.
All of you make good points. They have a great opportunity with this. As acclaimed as the game was on 360 making it better with more features and DLC included will not only entice PS3 people but also 360 people who are curious. If they make significant changes for the better they certainly stand to benefit.
