It surpassed that 2005 CGI and I don't see how anyone can deny it. It looks better in pretty much every way. They actually did it. They not only met it (E3 2007) but now have surpassed it. Can't wait for this game.
Because so far in 2008 360 has been winning in sales each and every month. See if this guy has the balls to say something at the end of the year. MS will extend the lead even farther in 2009 right? PS3 will just keep building steam.
Killzone 2 continues to impress me. It looks very good from the new videos and I can't wait to play it. Too bad I have to wait into '09 to get my hands on it. E3 should show even more so here's hoping.

Don't try to make a defense with weak arguments like that. Gears MP sucked. Its single-player was way to short and there was never much going on on-screen. It sold so much because it was the only thing out and it got on the MS hype-train. Of course we have to wait until the games come out but R2 and KZ2 look to destroy gears 2 and honestly it's the best thing coming to the 360.
In my opinion Gears is the unproven. Gears had nice textures but nothing more. Resistance's single-player campaign was at least twice as long as gears and the MP was exponentially more advanced. Resistance had more innovative, creative guns with much more variety than gears. All gears had was a chainsaw that was fun the first few times but then was like whatever. Gears also managed to put what 2-3 enemies on screen at once and maybe 4 during tense fights and for the most part they just stayed...
Insomniac is a much better developer than Epic. Epic has made the same crap with basically the same characters and gameplay since their inception. Insomniac has made games of completely different genres which pretty much have all been good. Killzone 2 footage (even more with what was released at Sony gamerday) proves how nicely that game is shaping up.
But I just love HD movies. If they were cheaper though I would definitely have more. On the other hand DVD wasn't as cheap as VHS when it came out so I slowly adopted that too. The price will come down with time.

Dom KZ2 is going to be nothing short of incredible and oh yeah... The world is Blu.
I own 5 movies and the Planet Earth Series which is composed of 4 disks so I don't know if I should say 9 altogether or lump the 4 together since I bought them as a set. Anyway I plan to expand my library. You're right Aiphanes there are deals to be had if you look for them.
The HDDVD people got payoffs. It's pretty much been cleared up that the Blu-ray camp didn't. Nice try though. Keep the facts pouring in.
You can get them in the $20 range and sometimes Amazon has buy 1 get 1 free but still they can be a little exorbitant. That's why I only get my favorites and those that benefit from being HD on Blu-ray. You're right though if they were to cost less, I would get more.
I care about plastic disks. Right there you are wrong. Xbox fans struggling for something to make the PS3 look bad and thus leaning towards DD say they don't care about disks.
I never played a PS3 game with anything you just described. My list of games includes Resistance, Heavenly Sword, Warhawk, Uncharted, R&C, COD4, UT3, AC plus 5 PSN titles and none of them have long load times or long installs. However I have seen waits in the 10-20 second range for ME textures so your little half-second argument is gone.
I though Gears2 was supposed to be their saving grace. Now we're onto Alan Wake to stand-up to the PS3? Just accept it... PS3 will decimate all.
It isn't even that dark. You don't have that argument to bring down KZ2 anymore. What will you say about it now to try and make the 360 seem superior?

R2 almost looked like a 360 game. Very disappointing. But then they still have a lot of time so it will only get better. Back to the topic though KZ2 continues to look AMAZING!!
The option to choose between 1st and 3rd person would be sweet. I'm excited to see what else can be done with this engine because the textures, lighting, and amount of stuff on-screen (especially volumetric explosions and what-not) they will be able to do amazing things once it's refined even more.
