While Blu-ray definitely has the potential to make games extraordinary it hasn't done it to the level I was expecting yet. It deserved better than a 59. I have been loving that game and have come up with all kinds of creative ways to take out stormtroopers and the story is great. You definitely feel powerful. It's been a lot of fun. Certainly not a perfect game but at least a solid 70-80.

The RSX is just a modified Nvidia card but then the 360's GPU is just a modified ATI R600. It's not new they just tweaked it a little differently just as the PS3's GPU is tweaked. As to which one is more powerful I have heard debated to no end so it's really not worth it.
The CPU in 360 is certainly not new. It's nothing more than 3 watered-down P4s. Yes the 360 is the only console to use 3 as computer either go dual or quad core but they are not special at all.

Sales increase after a price drop and now the 360 will "win" the console war? I don't think the effect will last long enough to secure it a win. The PS3 has too much momentum and will only increase with the games coming out. The price drop also hasn't even brought sales close to the Wii so I don't think it will "win" anything for the 360.
At this point all consoles have a large enough install base that developers will not be turned away by lack of sales number...
Despite being rather cheesy at times it still worked for the game and I liked the humor they threw in. All in all I've enjoyed Bad Company quite a bit both online and offline.
It caught me off guard and made me laugh. I think that's more of a joke taken from reality as opposed to breaking the 4th wall though. It was funny though.

With really only two main characters on screen I wonder how many polys each person is pushing. It should be through the roof. While the graphics in Round 3 were great I am hoping they upped them a little especially now that they should be much more familiar with PS3 architecture as well as squeezing out that much more from the 360.
EA Big was my favorite as all the SSX games were great. Don't worry Posted Up the new Shawn White game looks like it's shaping up to be excellent. I need a good snowboarding game so here's hoping.

Honestly I saw them but they need to drop the price before I get one. There is still nothing to justify the purchase for me especially with the hardware issues that still seem to be very much alive. A 20 gig just isn't worth it and the price of the 60 gig is still too high for me to get one.

I certainly agree with you there. They have met all expectations and this looks nothing short of epic in EVERY way. They not only did it but they did it with everyone giving them crap and doubting the whole way.
It's a good series but it does not compare to this.
I own 12 PS3 games (although not MGS4 but its mid-game installs are isolated to it from my experience) and I have not seen the things you are talking about.
