No matter what they will still claim this as be all of gaming at least for 2008 even if it had no co-op at all. R2 co-op, MP, and story looks to own all.

They need to offer up something because games coming out now like R2 with 8 co-op and Haze with 4 co-op are pushing things much further than standard co-op. They need something new to put in the game.
I still don't see how they will do that in a 3rd person shooter being that the guy will take up significant space in the picture already divided into fourths. But they do need to do something to make it stand out.

Bring on the games. They just putting out more. Resistance, R&C, Uncharted, Warhawk, Heavenly Sword, and COD4 have all buttered me up and I can't wait for more. Please bring out inFamous. I can't wait for more info on that game. So much to look forward too. R2 will be beyond excellent.
I'm glad I didn't upgrade my PC to play it. I can just get it on my PS3. Hopefully their code runs well. They've had a while to optimize it. I'm curious to see if the visuals are really upgraded especially over the PC version. DLC included is tight though. Put it all on that Blu-ray.
Yeah right MS is going neck and neck with a year head start. Without that THEY would be phased out. As it is both 360 and PS3 are here to stay but MS is not looking so good considering the head-start and PS3 wasn't released in Europe until 4 or 5 months after the US so the 360 had even longer to gain a lead but it is quickly disappearing.
However I agree with him on certain points. I don't think Gears 2 looks much better than the first but games on all consoles can use better AI. Uncharted was the first game that made me actually think to get through some parts but even then things can get predictable after a while.
AI is definitely where games have significant ground to cover although I think they are improving.
For him being so wrong as you say you certainly don't provide any evidence to the contrary. Exactly what in his post was incorrect? All you did was sound like a disgruntled MS employee. Tell us what in his post was not true. Back it up instead of just smearing Sony with nothing but opinions about lies.

Quit pirating games. Simple as that. If you can afford a gaming rig to run the latest games you can afford the game. They are cheaper than console games anyway.

But I don't see Gears 2 coming close to this. Hats off to Epic if so but I seriously see no way considering UE3 can't even match Uncharted and KZ2 even surpasses Uncharted.
Not that it will look bad but honestly this looks superb. I'm glad the extra dev time has really paid off. I don't see any way that UE3 engine can match this. But we'll see soon enough and the flame wars will have several more battles.
