I like some of the ideas. It does take forever to rank up but I've seen plenty of people topped out.
The grenade down the tank hatch would be awesome for non-engineers but I think the spawn times of vehicles are about right. Faster spawn times would discourage gun battles for the vehicle whores.
The Medic class is far too accurate but it's only ever been a problem for me every once in a while. The bullet drop for snipers is PERFECT and I love the effe...
I've been waiting for a new SSX for a long time. I tried Shaun White Snowboarding but that was a huge disappointment. Hopefully the new SSX will deliver.
There is not a more deeply moving experience than cheatin on a cheater :)
Honestly it is one of the best series on the PS3. The quality of the games is top-notch so there really is no excuse not to have played them. Both games are just a great experience and the 3rd looks to continue in the same footsteps.
I love that game. I already beat it but you can spend many many hours just having fun in that game. The action is outstanding with lots of improvisation options.
I finished Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and now I'm working on Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time. I still need to finish Mercenaries 2 and Far Cry 2 that I've been doing off and on for more than a year.
I am seriously missing Battlefield BC 2. I'm craving some onslaught mode.
I'm playing through a Crack in Time for the first time right now. Loving it!
I agree with you Treezy. I've platinumed inFamous and beat it 4 times but I still love playing it. It's about the same story with UC 1&2, KZ2, Battlefield BC, Force Unleashed 1&2, and others. I always beat the SP before I even touch MP. I still love the single-player campaigns (well not for all games) though I know there aren't many like me left out there.
Why are people freaking out of PSN being out a few days? Actually take in a narrative once and while ...
@ computersaysno: You can't compare something like inFamous or Ratchet to Gears 2. What are you thinking? One is open-world and the other has a completely different art direction and style. But compare Gears 2 to Uncharted 2 or even GOW III which are 3rd person action games focused on a stylized realism and the difference in quality becomes clear. If you want to compare inFamous to a game bring up an open-world game for comparison. Likewise with Ratchet, MLB, etc. You have to keep apples...
@ blad3star: I think you mean multiply but still that's only $41,000 which is not a lot for a company like Sony and also still only adds up to a few cents per person. The point lastdance made stands firm.
I'm with deadspace and princejb134. I haven't even noticed it was down. I've been playing AC Brotherhood and R&C Crack in Time. Those will hold me for plenty of time until things get going again.
On a side note, does anyone really have to ask the question "what can you still do with the PS3?" Seriously? Doesn't anyone enjoy SP anymore? So sad.
The co-op in Haze is the only thing that made it bearable. 4-player co-op rocks. I love it in Warhawk too. The nectar was cool but the co-op was the only reason I enjoyed the game.
I'm not going to get into the whole debate on GPU speeds, bandwidth, etc. but this caught my eye, "Lets face it here, PS3 does have a few handful of exclusive games 360 would probably struggle to do, where the rest of the games it proves itself to be perfectly capable of. "
"If PS3's memory, bandwidth and CPU are so greatly superior than 360's but its GPU is only slightly worse, then how comes most of the time they are so evenly matched. Or even fur...
I worded it that way because MrSancho stated he only plays COD at present and so for him it's a "this or that" scenario. Of course you can play both if you like but most people gravitate towards a certain style of gameplay.
You just want to hit him don't you?
I don't know what it is but just... yeah.
I'd help Sony long before I helped any hacker. Why can't you people just give it up and live normal lives? No one cares what you hack or how many hot pockets it took you to do it. You really think the hot chick walking down the street is going to care you hacked a PS3? Pathetic.
You don't hurt anyone's hearts. I loved COD4 but after that game I'm afraid it's been downhill for the COD series. I have a friend who still prefers COD but personally I can't go back to it after experiencing the vehicles, destructible buildings (probably the biggest factor), and more realistic character movement and feel. The FPS don't really phase me because as long as it's smooth I don't mind and I like something a little slower and tactical than COD which i...
Whether Kinect, Move, or Wii, I still have no use for motion gaming. Here's hoping MS fixes this for the casual crowd that can't work analog sticks and buttons.
It doesn't look bad but I think this game will suffer from a fundamental flaw that has been present in superman games. You have a hero that is near-boundless in his abilities but in a game world that cannot be realized because you can't make a game out of that so there has to be strict limits placed on either the world, the hero, or both. This looks like it offers good variety but I never even really saw him fly and these games need to be open-world to really capture what it's lik...
I loved Just Cause 2. I'm somewhere in the 86-87% completion range and have put in more than 100 hours. A great game with varied environments and lots of fun to have.
