We'll see in two years if they actually shut down the games that have online passes because none of these games did.
Both consoles have ups and downs and like everything it just comes down to personal preference.
I like the exclusives of ps3 more than the 360's exclusives for quality and quantity and I use my ps3 for watching movies. I play my 360 more just because the majority of my friends have a 360 and I play coop and online games with them more than playing games by myself on ps3.
I never played the original Halo so I'm excited for this. Being able to switch between the new and old graphics with a button seems awesome too.
Apparantly 240,000 copies sold the first week isn't a success for a lot of people even though it'd be in the top 5 on NPD if it was September. And that's on the first week alone.
I have no interest in racing games but found it funny to look at all the troll comments bringing up R3 or not selling a million week one so it's a flop. If half the people on this site actually believe the stuff they put like that I truly feel sorry for them.
Um everyone complained about all of those examples you mentioned actually so idk why you have to make it seem like Uncharted is the only game bashed for this while other games are too.
Batman doesn't have a season pass either it just came with a code for Catwomen dlc and that's what people complained about. I have no clue why you even mention Halo.

The endings build up was to make it seem like everything was going to be okay for John and his family but in the end he couldn't be redeemed for his past actions by the government so he was killed. The way some of the dialog go throughout the game between John and the marshals foreshadow this if you every play it again. They say things like "once a criminal, always a criminal" and things like that. I noticed it on my second play.
The chick in the thumbnail really looks like Peggy from Mad Men even with the bad graphics.
Is everyone on this site a troll or something. He's not dissing the ps3 he just answered a question honestly. The ID tech 5 is made for next-gen consoles not current ones. It's not that he doesn't understand anything about the ps3. I'm pretty sure if he was given the Uncharted 3 engine he could put out a game just as good looking as Naughty Dog can.

Well there's not really much to spend money on in Rage anyway except ammo or a couple upgrades. I bought all the schematics and upgrades from the Subway and Wellspring and still had a couple thousand $ when I just got to Subway town.
You obviously know the ins and outs of console development and have more credibility than a game designer and programmer who makes rockets as a part time job and created first person shooters. It's easy to look at a spec sheet, try making a game.
Oh and I'm not a PC fanboy or anything it's just annoying always hearing that every ps3 exclusive game has the best graphics making it the most powerful console ever when graphics aren't the only thing in determining ...
Ya they were supposed to reveal something for Alan Wake that wasn't a sequel at e3 this year but they backed out of showing it for some reason. I just hope it's not some kinect or downloadable game that was rumored.
Too bad Halo and Gears were both close to being made into movies a couple years ago but both fell through. Gears even had a script but the budget was too big for a R-rated movie so they dropped it.
I liked the first Resident Evil movie and that's it. They just resorted to more and more action and less horror with each iteration(like the games). It's probably the most successful vg movie franchise as a 5th movie is being filmed right now though.
Well the games main draw is it's story as it's an "interactive drama." That's why the plot holes are talked about more than plot holes in games like COD. It's like complaining about Call of Duty's online since that's it biggest feature.
Ya they tried something new and people complained but if your main draw is the story they should have made it as cohesive as possible like making gameplay or online as good as possible in other games.

I actually think Insomniac has a better reason to go multiplatform now.
It might start selling better from word of mouth with it being better received by the community than R2 but selling half the amount than the game before it is a lot even if only for a month. On a side note why does wikipedia say R3 sold 2 million copies it's first month. I'm guessing a fanboy did that.
I liked Dead Space 2's approach to the online pass. It you don't have one or buy it used you get a two day pass to play the multiplayer. I know you can't do that for single player games like Batman but I think every multiplayer game with a pass should have it. For single player games if you buy it used they could just give you the first mission free for they're giving with the pass.
I'm not promoting online passes I'm just trying to say ways they could...

But honestly the game does not really interest me that much with the whole top down approach and arcadiness.
