Alan Wake was one of my favorite games the year it was released. I didn't get sick of the gameplay and it's story is one of my favorite stories in a video game ever. I love mystery shows like Lost and horror movies in general though so that might be why.
I'm just curious, do you go in every Nintendo article and use the same argument about new IPs?
I do the same, mostly because all my friends who play games have a 360 and none of them have a ps3 (I'm not exaggerating with none)...
Out of the games mentioned I'm most excited for Alan Wake and Witcher 2 while I might check Minecraft and Halo 4 out.
I'm like the only person who thinks this but I could care less about Master Chief and Halo 4. He says like 20 lines a game and I'd rather have a story like Halo Reach with great characters that have development, personality and things to say. Halo Reach and ODST felt like games that had good stories that made sense while the numbered games to under...
This honestly has been a rumor since the Deimos extra in God of War 1(or 2?) and is brought up before every entry in the series is announced. It's always a rumor of this or a rumor that the next game takes place in present day like the fate of the titans extra implies...
I'm more loyal to Sony since I bought a ps3 first this gen but I'm open minded in buying new technology unlike most people on this site who just hate on things they don't have and never consider buying them.
I used to do that saying how I hated Halo and Gears even after playing both but when I bought a 360 and played them again I realized that I was just hating the games because I couldn't own them before. I was looking for faults in the games and not positiv...
I'd describe Microsoft's year as a good business year for them with the casual market and NA sales but a disappointing year for the more hard core with only a few exclusives.
I'm happy anyway since I have a ps3 and 360 but the success with the casual market is making them stray away from the core market they once sought which is worrying.
I'm kind of excited for the Game of Thrones rpg since the books and tv show are awesome but I'm not really expecting much from the game based on the trailer.
And Eli directly talks about Aperture Science near the end of Episode 2...
Even though it isn't cancelled I'm still worried about the game just because there's been more news about the troubled development than the game itself.
Maybe they should draw from Dragon Age Origins since that's what 2 should have done since it was supposed to be a sequel and not an unwanted reboot.
I'm guessing Bioware's need to "innovate"(copy ideas from other games) and change games to be more accessible to the mass comes from them wanting to make more money instead of pleasing their fans.
The best thing is that they said they're not going to just go back to how Dragon Age Origin...
I've had issues and I'm in Canada. This reminds me that I still can't join zombies games while in a party in Black Ops matchmaking. Me or my friends never have full connections either. It's always at three bars and we never get host for any COD game.
Honestly I think it's just because the matchmaking in COD is tailored to the United States unless people have the same problems there. And my connection is 15mbps so that's not it...
Ya it's funny that a lot of people think quick scoping is a "skill" when all it is is pressing the trigger at the right moment for the auto aim. It may take practice but the auto aims the thing aiming for you and not yourself.
Ummmmmmmmm Skyrim has power attacks so that's twice as many moves as Dead Island's one slash attack. Both games are obviously SO deep with their combat...
I got the complete Half Life collection. I think $10 for every Half-Life game and expansion is a good deal.
It happened to me once or twice during the first week the game was out before any patch that wasn't released day one and same with the freezing on autosaves but that was after 1.2.
Every Bethesda game has had problems though and imo the games fun and worth while anyway.
It's funny because on this site only like five people are saying that it's another zombie game while everyone else is praising it. I just think the topic of this post is flawed since it just tries to single out a few fanboys while WAY more people are praising it. Every other site is praising it too, like IGN.
If this was about Metal Gear Rising and everyone hating on that game the article would be more valid imo...

Wow that's a ridiculous size. Hopefully it's like Bad Company 2 and if someone clears their system cache it won't delete the update because that would suck. The 150mb update got deleted when I cleared it so idk.
What's your thoughts on the story?
That was my favorite part of the game. I also wouldn't have disagreed with you if you didn't state your opinion as a blatant fact...
