They can mess around worth no name JRPG's like LO and Infinite Undiscovery, but Star Ocean is too big of an RPG to blow on the 360 since the 360 doesn't move RPGs.
I would say behind Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts, this is squares biggest RPG and if it was only on the 360 they could kiss any chance of over 200,000 sales of this game goodbye in Japan, while they would receive nearly 1,000,000 just by releasing it on the PS3 in that region.

Just downloaded it. Its definitely a lot faster. The screen scrolling is a little fast though, kinda makes me dizzy lol. I like how I actually know what Im scrolling while using Firefox.

With the price of the LBP bundled being confirmed in Europe for $399 (the price it is right now without a game) I think its pretty safe to assume the PS3 will be getting a price drop on the Core soon after.

No, the point is third party exclusive exist, but they don't matter. And I think those would be 2nd party because Microsoft produce them (or no).
But third party games exclusives won't exist until one console can outsell another console by a very large margin. It doesn't make sense otherwise. Why limit your potential buyers more than you have to since selling games is your primary focus. Sure attach rates per console will be down, but overall sales will usually go up.

There wont be by next summer. The PS3 outsells the 360 3-2 right now. If the 360 sells 6million this winter, the PS3 will sell 9 million.
And that difference is widening. The 360 has nearly complete saturated its potential install base in the US
(Xbox sold 15,000,000 in the US, the Xbox360 has sold 12,000,000). This is the reason for the slow down in 360 sales. Less potential buyers exist because casual gamers have the Wii, or are waiting for the Wii.
