"Epic amounts of the same....FTW"
Reps from EB games that saw both of these titles were "unimpressed" by Gears of War 2's graphics, but were much more impressed by the Resistance 2 footage.
So graphics-wise it has definitely lost its edge. The game play was always pretty bland other than the chainsaw. So its a choice between SOCOM 2 and Resistance 2, followed by Killzone 2 and MAG next year, versus the graphically "meh" Gears of War 2 and....we...
But with the game still not being released, how can you say that? Will Fable 2 get 10/10 from IGN or Gamespot? Most likely not, if the developer is already doing damage control.
IT will probably be very good, but MGS4 already set the bar pretty high this year, and LBP also looks damn good. They are in different genre's of course, but MGS4 is the best action shooter...well ever and LBP could be the new Mario.

Even if they doubled their sales, they were still selling poor the previous week. They will outsell the PS3 by 30,000 in NA, but were outsold by 30,000 in Europe. That means that even with the price drop, the PS3 will still outsell the 360 WW thanks to Japan. HAHAHA. Too funny.

1. You can change the view to classic like i did, lol. Go to options while your in the game and change the view to "classic"
2. He said the lag issues were because of the huge number of people that logged on at once (more people than I saw on SOCOM3/CA last time I logged on)
3. The game is slower now, hopefully they see the amount of complaints about this. It feels like SOCOM...but in slow motion.

When you are being outsold by the PS2 in many European regions while costing less than the Wii, I think we can pretty much assume that no one wants that piece of crap hardware.
Sony sold more units last holiday season you moron, lol. And once again, America isn't the world. The 360 MIGHT outsell the PS3 with the new prices, but Japan and Europe will be an easy victory for Sony.

They didnt make profit last earnings report, and won't make profit the next because of this price drop. They will still be outsold WW, since Europe is now a bigger market than NA, and Sony completely dominates Europe over the 360.
It hasn't done a damn thing. This isn't going to help them very much at all. The, at $50 more, will still dominate the casuals.
Plus we will see a PS3 price drop very soon. Its not necessary, but it will happen because Sony has been refining hardware all year getting ready for this. They already make more money on software than they lose on hardware, so with huge first party titles coming up they can afford a $50 drop

The RPG's that Sony has gotten so far have been absolute crap, Folklore is the best one they have gotten yet. Just calling something a JRPG doesn't mean its going to sell boatloads.
Now LO, since it was developed by Mistwalker (the guys who did Final Fantasy IX), should have have easily sold 1.2-1.5 million. It would have hit that the first month if it was released on the PS3.
