It gets you pumped up for the game. I will be getting R2, but this commercial puts you in the storyline before you even purchase the game. Good stuff
They have yet to have a AAA exclusive this year, while we have had both LBP and MGS4. (LBP is rated higher than any of their exclusives, and MGS4 ties their best rated one GeOW)

I mean Edge and Eurogamer both gave Gears 1 80/100. I dont think this game is pulling 96+

While I won't be buying Fable 2 anymore (if it had gotten all 95 I would have but with all the PS3 games this winter I don't want to be spending like $300 on games alone) I do think the game is still going to be really good.

This game is not finished. You can't review an online game when it doesn't work online properly. Really, as is, this game deserves nothing more than a 5. Keep in mind this is one of the main reasons why I own a PS3 and I am playing this game every day.
This game is more fun and more addictive than COD4 WHEN IT WORKS. But unfortunately right now, that occurs less often than it doesn't. So really this review is fair. Sony forced Slant Six to release a broken game because of the bun...

I've been saying that most of these problems are with the PS3 itself and not the games. I am glad to hear that its actually fixable. Things like the game freezing because of the mic use and things like that aren't something I think we can blame on developers.
I am happy Sony is addressing this so quickly since I absolutely love this game.
WE can compare Resistance 2 to Halo 3
And we can compare Killzone 2 to Gears 2
We know that Resistance Pwns Halo 3
And Killzone 2 pwns all. It kills Gears 2 on every level.
Now it is only 5.4 million behind the 360. You do the math. Its not that hard for the PS3 to blow past the 360 by 5,000,000 in a year. It outsells the 360 everywhere but the US. If the PS3 released in Europe the same time it released everywhere else it would probably be within 2,000,000 right now.
Those are facts friend. You gotta live with the fact that only the US cares for the 360, the rest of the world (which buys more consoles than the US alone) prefers the PS3.
Its a skilled players game. Its fun as hell, and once they add in the tournaments and clan ladders I probably won't be playing anything else for a long while. The game is just amazing.

That's still gotta be pretty good for Sony ATM. And it doesn't look as if the 360 price cut is affecting PS3 sales at all according to September NPDs.
I guess Sony really doesn't need to cut the price, and with LBP(GOTY) Socom and R2 coming out they'll definitely at least stay competitive in NA for a good while
