No one(at least I hope no one) is delusional enough to think the PS3>Wii in hardware sales. The Wii is the fasting selling console in history.

But the 360 just doesn't have high demand. Its not the price, no one wants the 360. Its basically the original Xbox all over again. Sony can afford to sell a console over $300, because they are Sony and have a good track record to having good gaming and quality products.
Why the hell Microsoft thought they could compete with Sony for a price above the PS2's entry price in beyond me. Add on to that the faulty hardware and pay-to-play online...
Socom has never been a graphically impressive game. Socom 3 looked worse than Socom 2 did. No one is complaining, as long as there is less lag and better hit detection no one will complain.
Try all you want, nothing is f-ing with Socom, and people who have played it know there is no game that even compares to its multiplayer gameplay.
Just because it wasn't announced doesn't mean it hasn't been in development for awhile (awhile meaning a few years).

Console prices aren't going to come down THAT fast in a few months. They are still using the same console configuration as far as hardware goes, so they aren't going to slice off the $100-$200 they cut off by introducing the 40gb model.
