I have yet to meet anyone who knows how the hell it works.

FIFA won't see any radical improvments until the next gen. it will be minor improvement each year, like all EA sport titles.

once BT's fiber network is in place everyone will be able to enjoy up and around at least 50gbs speeds. consider onlive asks for a minimum of 3mbs, and consider that as well as throughput being increased, the latency is also heavily reducded via fiber, cloud gaming is the future, especially when phyisical media costs are rising.

TCT > Transaction Cost Theory

If a transaction costs too much over the market, bring the transaction into the organization.

I suspect the cost of using a cloud gaking service would be too costly in an open markey, with quality control and game hosting and connectivity simply too costly (information and security wise).

So all it is then is that Nvidia have invented a nice GPU to be used. However, this will only limit the latency within the locality. You still have to contend with the latency experienced across the WAN.

However, I suspect that Gaikai is probably more suitable for a Sony take over since they don't use and end devices. Onlive has already distributed end devices, and so if Sony were to take over, it would suggest that these end devices plus the existing subscribers using ...

hmmmm I think next gen was originally planned for E3 this year, but i suspect they have withdrawn them and gone back to the drawing board due to critical comments regarding the leaked specs from people such as Epic games. well I hope they have.

its for mobile phones. It will, in comparison to console standards, be crap! Will be some sort of Moogle based game aimed at kids.

@NYC_Gamer Onlive also has Nvidia support, since basically the games are just running on custom made gaming server rigs in a data center somewhere? Then sent using an adapted RDP protocol across the net.

Fifa 13 will have the same penalty system as last year. This alone makes me want to stay clear. Its a shame that a custom patch for the roster can't be released on consoles. (I'm sure it can on PC).

I'm suprised Croft has survived all the breats enhancements she has had with every edition of tomb raider. Surely she would have got some sort of blood poisining from all that silicone.

Good job she is alive though, as them camera angles where you zoom into the ass wouldn't be same with nathan drake.

Square Enix are a joke of a company. First rule of business, keep your customers happy. I mean why waste all your resource on such crap like IOS and Android? its a fact that 70% of appas and games are no longer used after 3 days.

Doesn't say in the article if they are charging for the DLC. But yeh, it does seem a bit cheeky. I hope some regulations are put in place in the future to prevent this, as the value of the games out of the box are becoming questionable.

I saw that. think it was from play.com i think the reviewer found the game too hard.

5126d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

IGN have given this 7.5, while everyone else if giving this 85+/100. I wonder what the review score would have been from IGN if Activision had made it?

I was glad to see the reviewer stating how you should get Skyrim and Demon's Souls out of mind when playing as it seems this game is different enough and unique enough to warrent judgement on its own terms. I have this on pre-order and can't wait to play it.

Games are simply too expensive at launch nowadays. If you are trying to charge £40-50 for a game, then the average gamer who is also having to contend with rising inflation and lower wages or having a job in the first place, isn't likely to be able to afford to buy many of these games.

I would resolve the issue by charging a flat fee every month of say £50, and that fee will allow a gamer to download x amount of games each month onto their chosen console.

Having played UC3 recently I would have to disagree regarding the blend of cut-scenes into gameplay. I can recall a few occasions where I thought the cut-scene was still occuring as the camera panned around back to the default gameplay view.

The fact that a lot of people are claiming this to be CGI just goes to show how good Naughty Dog are. Anyone who has played uncharted knows that this is an ingame cutscene, and the graphics that you see on the trailer represent what can be expected from normal gameplay.

Now, instead of bickering about Xbox v PC v PS3, just focus on the game and what this means for gaming in general. Does none of the Xbox/PC fanboys out there agree that it's great to see such a nice looki...

was expecting much more, think i will wait a week for Dragon's Dogma. Everything I have seen and heard of that game suggests it will be much better.

I thought both games were excellent. The attention to detail and the physics were like no other FPS. Much better than the Arcade like FPS's like your CODs and such.
Some people are just too demanding.

Never seen someone get so worked up about a clock. Sounds like he needs to get his arse to the prom he is missing and learn to socialise.
