I want this game to be great like City and Asylum. Not just good, but City was better.
Yeah, it would be best if everyone had their own "Direct" presentations. It would cut out the middle man, limit B.S. and we would get the message the companies want to give. Along with good marketing through T.V.(I love video game commercials of any kind as long as they are't boggled down with promotional crap, I'm looking at you Mountain Dew and Doritos)and social media, I think it would streamline the process very well. Less Flo Rida and Lesbian jokes, more Xbox, Playstaio...
This thing needs to be advertised more, this is a definite buy. The lack of gamecube controller support was one of the things that disappointed me about the Wii U.
._____.
I want this game to be great soooooo much, but first no Rocksteady Studios, then multiplayer, and now no Kevin Conroy. It probably will still be good, but I wanted it to be great like City and Asylum.
E3s for the last couple of years have always been underwhelming for me, with the big three often doing damage control afterwords,so I do see the logic in switching to several smaller Nintendo Direct like conferences. Those personal, smaller conferences like the Nintendo Directs and Sony's PS4 announcement have all been satisfying and portrayed their messages well. However, the biggest thing about e3 is the media attention and fanfare. People get really excited about the events year after ...
I'm so happy this was fixed. It always took too long to do anything on the system. Are Hulu Plus's stability issues fixed too?
Yeah, with Nintendo consoles, most of the time the pure horsepower of the consoles has not mattered much. I would like for it to matter a little more, to Nintendo for long term reasons, but they mostly just focus on creative ways to use the hardware they have.
Ok, the Wii U is a little more powerful than the PS3, so it will be weak compared to the PS4. However, it will not be like with the Wii and PS3, that was night and day. The same games could not even be made on the Wii. Wii U vs PS4 is like a lower end PC vs a Mid to High end PC. Especially if games are still made for the 360 and PS3, the Wii U will still get games, they just won't look quite as good as on the PS4. Also, the Wii U isn't dependent on the horsepower, Nintendo hasn't ...
That is one of the reason people were mad about the delay. They are delaying a wonderful game pretty much made of the Wii U just to make an inferior version for the PS3 and Xbox 360. It is totally just a money grab by Ubisoft. Plus, everyone knows that the Nintendo crowd is far more interested in platformers than the Playstation and Microsoft crowd. There are platformers for the Xbox and PS3, but most of the time their owners are not hyped for their release, unlike how Wii U owners were for t...
It will only be a good decision if they are tactful about it. These upcoming games are very noteworthy and worth hype, but they must promote it where they won't get overlooked. Make sure advertisement and promotions are stellar and that gamers at home are shown everything. Don't leave things ambiguous, because that is what is plaguing Microsoft with the Xbox right now. Make these presentations clear and memorable, and supplement them with products ready to play. Also, some new surprisi...
Ok, I know this title is misleading, but I'm not sure having several smaller events instead is a very good decision. The point of e3 is to hype up these games and systems, not make them subdued. You should not go for subtle here, in fact go for over the top. No guest musical artists or anything, but show that classic Nintendo charm, compliment it with an orchestra of the many great sound tracks your games have produced, and show us why you are great. Do not let the gamers forget you. Do n...
Ehhh, why say anything Nintendo? All this does is just confuse people. I mean, are we still seeing new exciting stuff in exciting presentations like before? I've got really mixed feelings about this, because the most important news (new games and features) are supposed to be promoted and pumped up at e3! You can't just rely on directs in the US! Maybe Japan, but not the US! Americans like things bigger and more hyped up like in all the E3s. Plus, we don't have very long attention ...
It's kinda short sighted and pessimistic to say avoid any games. If you don't want it don't buy it. Don't try to get others to stop wanting a game just because of your negative outlook on the gaming industry. Also, unless they follow games like Aliens Colonial Marines, which was both a false advertisement and overall "WTF Happened?!" moment, I doubt these games will be bad enough for you to feel the need to tell others to avoid them.
Eh, better now than never. Wii remotes are some of the last things I have that use up AA batteries, so any official change like this is welcome. Plus, Nintendo is still using them in games for the Wii U, so I think I'd buy some rechargeable batteries for them.
-_______-..................... ..I really hate politics.
Due to crap like this, I'm starting to dislike all politicians, Democrats or Republicans. I can't believe they are still stuck on the idea that getting rid of violent video games will change anything. All its gonna do is alienate entire generations of up and coming people from them. They just look more and more like out of touch old people, who are basically putting the car in neutral and expect to be getting a...
I'm sooo ready for Mario Kart, Smash Bros, and the 3d Mario. Also, I hope that they put some real effort into the next Mario Party, because I feel it is the only real weak link in Nintendo's IPs. I haven't felt the need to even play one since 6.
I'm liking the direction Nintendo and Sony are going with Indies. Indie developers tend to be some of the most creative people in the business, plus this route is far more sustainable in the long run than the bigger is better focus of a lot of AAA games nowadays.
I really enjoyed Skyward Sword and the Twilight Princess. I think the problem with having motion controls with Skyward Sword was that the experience varied between players. I never had a problem with the controls, but my some of my friends (far bigger Legend of Zelda fans than me) had issues and so did not like playing it.
Soooooo... Epic itself is not gonna make UE4 run on the Wii U, but if another developer wants to take the engine and adapt it for the Wii U it can? That's kind of a really roundabout way of dealing business..........I think I know what these all these developers are doing, they want to just throw the Wii U under the rug, but they won't say it out right. This because pretty much every time they count out Nintendo, it still ends up being successful. They are just covering themselves so ...
I think the delay was probably because it is coming to all HD consoles. It just seems like the game could benefit from the strengths each system has. 360 and PS3 have the install base, Wii U has the game pad and improved graphics, PS4 and PS3 for improved graphics and other unknown capabilities , and PC for the best graphics.
