Damm... it's a powerful console but so expensive. Not for everyone's pockets.

Shovelware, lots of it nowadays. Either with good or bad graphics. Stock holders and money are all that matters to almost every big game corporation out there.

"meaning that the cafe owners are losing money to people who can't play the game while at the same time having to pay Blizzard royalty fees on a game that's not quite turning the profit they thought it would. "

Losing money to Blizzard, not to people. And in fact, they are "NOT making money", to be put correctly. Now Blizzard should at least, by common sense, reimburse the server down time on the royalties paid to the cafe owners for those days. O....

Great idea, but I bet they would turn that in to an subscription mmo. :S:S:S:S:S

Nintendo fans will bash me for this but.... isn't this some nes64 graphics? By the looks of it... come on, they could have done a slightly better looking game with that move technology... This console can deliver much better and still.. I really don't understand Nintendo.. (take for example virtua tennis with move interface, now that's a good looking game!)

Neither, since ps2, xbox and psp. They are becoming two control freaks along with nintendo. Opressive drm, register everything, monitor every press on your console's power button, always online, can't borrow a game to a friend, can't resale used game to buy new one, hype a game and find out it's not what we expected or were told, E3 looking like a stream of upcoming movies... These are some examples of what we have now and what some of what we'll have in the future, perhap...

Ehe, there was a sales campaign in my country on some shops that they would trade you a new vita for an old psp plus 100 euro (about 80 something dolars) but I refused to part with my old psp ahaaaa! lol (in any case, the offer was there, extended to anyone who would bite it)

@axelstone, depends on the rig you're thinking. Most big media distributors where I live put up vaios, HPs and whatever with very similar specs selling and prices differ a slight bit, but usually vaios are a bit more expensive. I remember browsing over the internet for a new laptop and at the time I went for an Acer's specific model that took out in specs some more expensive vaios by far. Nevertheless, in this case, a vaio compensates a lot adding a vita or ps3 for free in the purchas...

It's the same as saying that LOL is the rip-off of the century related to DOTA and some kids that had one idea that still moves people to play the ancient warcraft 3 (which actually still sells for 20 euro in my country). But nobody talks about that right? Sounds very much like fanboy talk, I'm sorry. Perhaps nintendo should had filed a patent on the game genre?

Wow, that's interesting.. although I think sony's laptops usually are a bit overpriced, getting a vita along with it sounds like a good deal.

Well, there's indeed too much fps and multiplayer only games and that doesn't appeal to me much. Also, too many fmv to present the games actually don't show what you play, only the theme and that's all. Conclusion? Too much flash and less "what you get" content. Then, they put guys singing, celebrities, etc.. do they play the games or just memorize scripts? And again, too much multiplayer and stats posting, achievements, etc. Then, take an fps from activision, for ex...

Funny video ahh... but could have been done with snes mario, he's more fit for your 3d scenario. (or perhaps the n64?)

I was thinking right now about if someone skilled enough could move all the the media content to a mod in starcraft's old engine? Jesus.. that would be wild, and a good way of showing the finger to Blizzard's DRM lol

It lacks coffee service built-in... lol

By today's standards, being overwhelmed with what to do is top notch. There's no 4.99 dlc or day 1 in this game and you'll be sucked in the game for weeks. Besides, this game is very very ambitious, joining fps with rpg in an open ended world sandbox type of game. Do we see others going so far? No... Now, about the UI, the cleaned aspect of it works alright, although I'm more into Oblivion's classic designed cosmetic.

If it's a cultural thing, then he should have said he was proud to go to hospital for the company. Well, he didn't.. and these kind of practices should be banned by government or regulated by some fiscal authority.
