IGN is trying to nuke metacritic, talking out for their corporate boys. They should also add that many devs also go there to review their own games and give them 10's, thus influencing positively their games. Some devs don't have nothing to fear, as they make good games and people overall positively review them. http://gaminggoreview.blogs... have a look here about the love they're giving us x...

Subjective. But I've heard that a lot too. It was highly customizable, being one of its strongest points.

Poking is funny but not everyone every time is on the mod to play catch with griefers. Flush'em out

Highly anticipated by them lol. And again, by the picking of the name, looks like EA is using a previous title of great success (if not one of the best NFS they made) to sell more... They have used this tactic in the past and they are doing it again ^^

It's awkward they using the same name! What a desperate choice..

Title and intro have nothing to do with the article... how does this get two approvals? It isn't about EA nor steam, but some personnal point of view about 3ds sales and crap..

Better get some rpg elements like equipment, upgrading, leveling up etc or else it's just more button fest with splashy cutscenes..

@ YI-Long

We can play games on pc from other consoles, other systems, from other ages. It's an amazing piece of hardware... I still play some games from DOS era, and they're exclusive, no console has those! (lol)

Dont worry about this article. He's just advocating for corporate. I say let it come out, the money raising value they got it's a clear message that some part of the community wants something different. I'm looking forward to see where this leads.

Fouls off, that's what I would like in order to buy a FIFA game again since 95 lol

HM..... -.- don't know about this.. either they put a great effort mixing some events of the series in it where the player has some kind of role to share or just a plain reconstruction of the world with fetch and grind missions will make a big difference...

Aha what a funny thing.. I was looking at this news and it has in thumbnail 360 of heat while the console had 720 :-D. It needs to match!

Don't forget alien 2 had Vasquez, the female marine, and not just focus on Ripley. :-) She was a strong character.

That's why I stick with a pc. I don't care much about consoles but it was an unusual life span xbox360 and ps3 had, that is undeniable. Now regarding handhelds these days, that's more like it.

Every platform has its place and share. It's just a matter of choice. We're not in DOS era anymore today. PC platform is very reliable in present times.

"The consoles themselves have been around for an unusually long time without being replaced"

Gamers that bought these consoles got a very long support for their investments. It was a good thing for a change in this generation. I remember the times where systems got released in short time distances and support for the older systems just vanished quickly, thus blowing out the initial investment all too soon.
