Jess their stock went up almost 8% with just this announcement. Thats one hell of a jump.
Though I personally don't care about Halo, it shows how much other people do.
Can't say for sure since I don't really know but more than likely it just means that someone is trying to get you to use their product.
How is the title BS. Sony is pushing a new format. That alone doesn't sound bad, since a bunch of companies push new formats/codix's/ and what not all the time. Granted it left out Samsung and Nokia but that doesn't make the title an angry fanboy title.

No it isn't, there is NO law in US limiting the sale of games to anyone of any age. The reason this is so is because games are protected under the 1st amendment and as such, any law that tries to limit the sales is unconstitutional. So if someone ask you why its ok to sell M games to minors, tell them its because its unconstitutional to do otherwise.
*Sigh* I already said it but Pachter follows trends and advise people where to put their money in which stock. Thats his job and apparently hes very very good at it. So stop complaining when hes wrong about prices/ sales of some unit.
@ Imalwaysrigth- Actually MS could easily "outbid" Sony on price. Though most people, unless they bother to research it,don't know it Sony makes very revenue money each year. Not sure of the exact number, just pointing out MS could easil...

Well when most people say better quality they mean difference between 1080i/1080p. But its like the 7.1 sound, I don't a single human being on Earth would be able to tell the difference. There comes to a be a certain point were you are just bragging about numbers rather than what the number actually mean. In this case they mean nothing.
Actually if you bother to read about it, all it would need is a firmware upgrade.
Ha the best NC-17 had to be Orgasimo. I have no idea why it was rated that, as I didn't think it was anything especially bad from an R rated movie, its sure was funny as hell!

Well it could be what you consider a "win" in Japan. What I mean is that if even just what was it 1.2k people by the 360 a month? Thats 1.2k that could have gone toward a PS3. I don't say Wii because I figure everyone already has that cursed box. But I'm probably wrong.
All of the previous comments are true, I would imagine that if you have the money for blu-ray or HD in general then you probably have a computer and thus accuses to the wide world of porn. And speaking from personal opinion there are just some things that I have no desire to see in HD...
While I think its stupid to call it a AAA game since the reviews say otherwise, I will say that as a 360 owner, I wish I had this and Warhawk! No real interest in Resistance though.
Personally I would go with whatever is the cheapest. Right now its HD, if later its blu-ray then I'll buy that. Its simple economics really.
Then again I am also, like most of the world I imagine, a person who doesn't have a HD-TV so well I could care less either way. By the time I get around to buying an HD-TV one of them or neither will have won.
Early adapters certainly have the niffy toys, but that counts for little if you toy goes out of style next year.
Right because the *insert long list of games that can other people spout out* isn't enough of a reason. And don't say, but but but the computer has most of those two. Since the 360 is 400 high end while a computer that can play of those games would be at least 1.3k.
Though if you do have a computer like that, go for it! I know I do, I just personal rather play some games on a TV instead.
You see this is how I view it. The 360(in japan) is that geek that no one likes or thinks will do well. So when it does well bad most people shrug and said "I told you so" but on contrast when the PS3 does so-so its like the Captain of the football team being reject by the band girls. Not that all bang girls are ugly, just stereotyping.
Hmm yet the in all proclaimed god of RPG's FF, the character never looked different when they got armor upgrades and the like. Yet they were good games? Just seems to me a really crappy reason to dislike a game...
Because its a Korean MMO.
Who cares what SC4 looks like I still think its the best fighting game, SC series, except for maybe SC3.
