I really hate it when it stops for a checkpoint. Its only a few seconds but I wish a little text appeared at the bottom as you hit the checkpoint, not after its done saving!
Moving on, I really liked the rag doll's when they were getting shot, very nice touch. Obviously the graphics are nice and pretty as well. Cant really say more than that though since nothing beyond that first level has really been shown.

How did news of a little thing that shakes a controller turn into a flame war?
Though one thing I am curious about, from a technical standpoint, is how they got the rumble to work without messing up the accelerometers in the controller. I mean you would think the senors would get false input from all the shaking right? I must know how this problem was solved!

Maybe I'm just not watching enough TV but I have not seen that many commercials regarding Halo. At least in comparison to say Ford or Pepsi, so except for the odd add in the newspaper or the cardboard sing by the doors of Wal-Mart. I just don't see that much advertising that a non-gamer would see.
Well Bioshock took me about a week to beat at about 2-3 hours a day on medium. Then another week with roughly the same amount of time on hard to see the second ending. Anyways the point is its about a 15-20 hour game depending if you just want to finish or actually want to enjoy everything. So comparing the two is pretty stupid.

No one in their right mind would buy MS stock. Not because its a bad stock but because it doesn't do well anything. It has not gone up nor down in almost 5 years. In most ways its like a mutual fun or IRA but with more risk and less pay off.
That said, I wished I was alive when MS first started and had the foresight to buy the stock then!
Right...so instead of sending it in, which is completely free, your going to just throw it away and and *maybe* sell whatever games you have... Then your going to go out and spend at least 700$ to buy the PS3 and I would guess at least 2 or 3 games. Ohh and don't say you would sell your 360 because that would mean you had to get it fixed, and since its fixed there would be no real reason to sell it unless of course your one of the two following things.

Your completely right about how the PS3 is doing better than xbox did around the same time frame of its release. But that can be accounted for by brand loyalty. Not that it isn't a good system but kind of like how Ford owners stick with buying Ford and how I will only by Hill Country bread, though thats about were my brand loyalty stops.
Though I will say aside from the dead xbots Ive had to send in I am more pro MS...
