The next cheapest one is 149 or 169, I forget which. The 99$ of which you speak was a 1 or 3 day sale...my memory is a bit hazy right now.
In any case it was just a few days sale. So the add-on is now the cheapest player, if you have a 360 that is. :)
Out of curiosity, why would something such as this that has no effect on you cause you to cancel your account?
I'm sure its wasn't the 4$ a month, so is it just the principal of the thing? If thats the case then I must say that I really wish I could play for free, its silly to think any kind of service would be free.
Though how Sony is affording to have there for free is beyond me. That has to be a somewhat large money sink for them. *shrug*
May I make a few points?
First I can count the number of times I have had lag on Live with 1 hand. Ok maybe 1 hand and 1 finger.
The PS3 Power Brick is inside the system, hence why its a larger and a bit heavier. Though I'll admit I rather have it on the box than behind the TV.
The rest of the monjo, Sound Sound, Upscale and all that Jazz is also on the 360.
BUT! The PS3 does indeed have a Blu Ray Player, but sadly it isn't free as ...

God of movie industry? Ha hell no, hes a decent action movie director. Not great,but decent and thats pretty much it. If you actually go and look at the reviews of his movies, most are not that flattering.
Except The Rock. I love the The Rock, but thats mostly because of Sean Connery. Now Sean Connery, hes is a god among men. M.B. not so much.
So its a bad thing to let parents better control how much time their kids play games? Maybe now they will get their collective buts outside and exercise, because you know that whole obesity thing is kind of a big deal... Get it BIG deal...haha I crack myself up sometimes.

Enh its really no different than playing Co-op with a friend who lives elsewhere. A little odd to do it for movies, but its free and could be nice for couples who are apart for one reason or another. Hell I used to do the same thing with one of my Ex's a while ago, just we did it on a phone instead of threw a remote. :)

Umm you could argue over sound, but video quality is really just a bad argument. You do know both formates use the same decoding tool right? So if your DVD look like HD's then you have one hell of a DVD player and where can I get one?
And one little thing... All BR/HD are, are space holders. Neither have anything at all with how pretty a picture looks nor how it sounds. All the disc do its hold the 0's and 1's.

Well J.K.Rowling outed Dumbledore as being gay. Which makes no sense at all since it doesn't effect the plot or your perception of the character before you knew he was gay. All it does is get the groups that called the series "devils work" more fuel for the fire.
This just seems a bit odd to me. I'll admit that I really liked the movies and the books. Except for the last book, it was ok but not quite as good as the others, but thats off topic. Anyways I wouldn't quite expect the same people who would watch the HP movies to be the ones to buy a PS3/360. Just seems like a different crowd.

I dislike GS as much as the next guy, but some of those where just pushing it. Crappy employees, now whose fault is that?
