Having not played the PS3 version I can't say for certain but...
Perhaps the PS3 has a better lobby(if it has one at all) or if it has a CoD4 style perhaps thats better than the PC counter-part.
Perhaps the gaming being slowed down a bit for the PS3 makes the game more enjoyable.
Perhaps because the PC world is full of games such as these where as in consoles its a relatively untapped market.

I was hoping for some actually footage. Not that the level design doesn't look nice. I was just hoping for some actually in game walk through.
All of what you said means pretty much one of three things.
1) Your too much of a fanboy to give credit to any game not of your system.
2) You dislike the FPS genera.
3) You haven't played it.
Why do I say this? Simple, while it is not the greatest game of all time, it's a blast to play. The first time you face off against a Scrabb was just pure delight.

Enh it has worked good for me. Not great, but it is just an operating system. Not to sure what people are expecting when they buy one. But I didn't get any errors and all of my previous software works fine. The only thing that I truely hated was the "do you want to allow" this crap.
My god that thing annoyed the hell out of me until I figured out how to true it off, which isn't hard at all, just Vista does not tell you exactly how to do it. Kind of have to look it up ...
Enh HD wont really help anime unless it relies heavenly on CG, which most of the goods ones don't. But it would be nice to have 40 eps. per disc instead of 7.

Actually the reason they lead anything is because their country got leveled to the ground. Think how much further the US would be if the 35% of the nations revenue got spent on science/education instead of the military.
Setting aside your useless fanboy attitude, until they make the second installment of all of the games you mentioned, they are new IP's. Perhaps this is lost on you though?
