Why no PS3 count? Because it was for standalones only and like it or not the PS3 is not a standalone.
Now is that fair? I don't, probably not, but stop complaining that they didn't when it clearly says standalones only.
It is very odd that you responded to your own comment. Very odd indeed.
I'll agree with you on Find Nemo, but not Beauty and The Beast. A cartoon is a cartoon, be it in HD or not. Its going to look the same on HD as it does on DVD as it did on VHS.
But Pixar on the other hand, yea those movies would look better. Can't wait for Toy Story!
I suppose, but in reality you can't have every game raise to the next level as the previous. Sometimes you try and make a great game and still fail. I know everyone picks on Lair, but aside from its controls it was a pretty good game. It would have been better had the motion been an option, but the developers tried to do something new and "raise the bar" but it backfired on them. So I'm not saying you shouldn't try to be better than the last, its the only way we can make progress, b...
Because there just might be a chance this will be better? Why do they make more RTS when Star Craft is better? Thats very twisted logic you are using.
Enh it plays my anime which is all I really cared about, so I'm happy.
Actually the total studio is about even, give or take 1 or 2.
And the video quality/sound have absolutely nothing to do with what disc it is on. Both disc just hold 0's and 1's. The actually quality is up to the ones who master the disc.
I'm not to sure why that point keeps getting lost and or miss use all the time.
I think people are quick to forget that when XP was first released, it was just as bad. Actually no it was worse than Vista. The release version of XP was almost down right unusable. At least Vista works, most of the time, its just one hell of a power hog.
Enh same thing happens if you go to an HD thread and look at all the pro HD comments.
*Edit
Looks at my 3 disagrees. Funny how other people can prove my point for me!
So your friend owns a 1.5-2k HD TV? Because thats pretty much what you have to pay to make use of 1080p sadly.
Well I'm fairly certain Holodisc will be next with its estimated capacity of 4 TB. Though some of the up coming flash drives that can hold 60 gigs could be serious competition.
You two give me hope for intelligent conversation on this web cite.
@Green
The answer to your question is quite obvious. The roles would just be reversed. As in "Blu Ray is dead" and "HD is the superior formate", all that crap that gets posted.
Personally speaking I don't care if its Blu or Red, all I care about is what I can get for the cheapest amount. That so happens to be HD, if it was BR you can bet that I would support BR instead. But m...
Actually the world usually follows suit on what America does, at least in terms of movie formates. But thats mostly because we have the largest movie sector in the world. That of course being Hollywood.
Well its surviving because the people that buy the players are buying movies. Hence the 2:1 software margin when HD has a much smaller install base.
Except in China. ;)
But they just like to be different.
In terms of just speed, WiFi is always slower, but I say its slower by general experience. Be that at my jobs WiFi, Home, School, Cafe's. But thats to be expected. A direct wire transfer is always faster than a open signal one.
*sigh* There is just no getting you people to use your heads is there?
Did you pay for the system? Yes? Then it was not free, its really simple.
Sorry I didn't see that WiFi was mentioned. I know its a bit more of a pain but why didn't you just run a Cat5 cable? Especeally for gaming I would never use WiFi, its just to slow.
I really have no idea what the PS3 comes with in terms of controllers, but I thought it was only 1. Also does it come with its or rechargeable?
And why did you pay 80 for Live? Unless its more expensive over there?
Have you not downloaded something off the internet before? Its all either mpeg/Xvid/Divx. Every now and then you'll get that jerk who wants to do a Real player file, but its usually one of the afore mentioned 3.
But all I care is that I can watch my anime on my 32 inch TV instead of my 14inch computer, which is always nice.
Interesting read. I already learn most of that this semester when we studied compression techniques, but still very Interesting.
Now will this stop the "loss less is worse than..." crap that goes on in the HD vs BR threads?
