Farcry had great AI. Crysis was good enough. Though the I think the enemy AI missed their calling for the NBA by how well they managed to get the grenades exactly next to me every time. From the Far Cry 2 vids I say the enemy AI is quite up to snuff.
Well Crysis was just good. Not great, not bad, but good.
After I read so much about it(Crysis) I was hoping it was going to be more open ended than follow the trail kind of thing.
The graphics were indeed wonderful. On my PC I got Texture, post rendering, and vol. metric. to very high with the rest set at high. But with no AA.
Also I wish they made the different suit power more interesting to use. Really all you ever used was cloak and armor. Speed was re...

Don't you know that creating the "Hello World" program automatically makes you in except in OS design?
How would Vista damage your system?
Also you should know that there isn't any Windows emulator, though VMware does come close enough that I suppose I should let you slide, if that is indeed what you use. :)
Now if your using the ever popular WINE, then well no it's not an emulator!
It's not so much Vista that people don't like as it's MS. Overall Vista works just fine for well everything. It plays all of my older games, except Sacrifice which required some tweaking on my part. Networking is well easy to say the least. Easy to the point where I didn't have to do anything. Though the fact that it burrowed through my routers firewall and password protection without a hitch is a bit worrisome...
Overall Vista is a fine OS that people just love to complain abo...
s the Xbox 360 worth Buying Sure, so is the PS3 and the Wii. Each system has great games that should not be missed. If you have the cash that is.
Global warming? Well it depends on what you mean by that. If your take is that we are causing it then, well your wrong. We did absolutely nothing to "cause" a rise in the worlds temperature. The wonderful planet we live on does this whole heating up/cooling down climate change quite often and is nothing more than normal Earth activity.
That said, all the happy CO2 gases we are throwing into the air are speeding the process up. But no we didn't cause global warming, j...
Loot like that is the reason I quit the game. I prefer to PvP over PvE and frankly, anyone with gear such as that will beat almost anyone else, even if they are a crappy PvPer. The skill of that game is long lost.
I have always wanted to see an even panel. They always give the last word to some sort of panel who is clearly one sided on the subject at hand.
Also the media always claims it's hard to control games in your home. Hmm last time I checked the 360(no clue about PS3) has an option to block "X" rated game. It's on the 360 box, it's in the manual. Hell I think it's an option when you first configure the system. And if you want to give me that crap that it's to difficult ...
The rebuy sucks since it's pretty much all profit but them giving you X amount of money for a game is not. For one, who is to say they are going to even resell the game they just bought from you? They are taking a risk buying the game in the first place. Also if you don't like it, then go some where else. Sell it on Ebay, garage sale or some other form. Nothing is stopping anyone from selling items to them, yet people continue to complain about it. It's one of the dumbest things I know of... ...
Thats just not going to happen when any electronics.
Kind of funny since technically there is no lesbian sex in the game...
So sex has no place is a story which is geared toward adults?
8 gigs of RAM? See now your just falling into the bigger is better line that so many people fall for. There is no single application that exist today that uses more than 3 gigs. Hell even the heaviest of games, such as Crysis, don't even touch upon 2 gigs. The only real use for that much RAM is if your doing on the fly CG/movie rendering and even then your going to be bottled necked by the CPU.
Also the 3.2 is easily overclocked to a steady 3.6 or 3.7. I've seen a 4.1 somewhere...
Well to their credit they run the games on the console default setting to ensure that the videos are compared fairly. As in it wouldn't be right to keep one the same and tweak the other to increase it's visual display.
That said they should put some sort of disclaimer stating as much at the beginning of the video.
Vista uses all available ram, by design. Despite what people think, you never want to have RAM just sitting around doing nothing. You always want to have your RAM to have as close to 100% use as possible, which is exactly what Vista does, and XP does to a lesser extent.
However if you just talking about RAM that Vista does not give up when another program is started then yes Vista uses more RAM. But well it's obvious that it would. It's a newer program after all.
Very true, just recently from taking a course in AI last seme. I learned how incredible difficult it is to program. And even though we didn't learn game AI, I can just imagine the difficulty in trying to get a enemy AI to simply recognize a wall, let alone know that it can not see through such wall.
