Why would they mention CPU speed in relation to playing HD movies? Just seems odd since the bottleneck of HD movies is the GPU, not the CPU. *shrug*
Umm As far as MS's "Pockets" go, they are far far far above Sony's.

Best way to get a new computer or anything for that matter is to first do some research. There are tons of guides online to help you figure out what your needs are spec wise. And then more guides to tell you exactly what you need to buy, PS,RAM,Motherboard and so on. Then order your parts online. If your to worried about assembling it yourself, wait till you get all the parts in the mail and take it to some local computer store. This does not mean Best Buy and the like, a real computer store....
If Alan Wake is 1/100 of what Cloverfield was then I'll be one very happy camper.
And also, who cares what the FPS is. As long as it look good/runs smoothly while your playing it. Does it matter if it 30,40,60, 100 billion?
No offense but saying your a Tester does not make you one anymore than saying I'm the President make the President. Not trying to call you a liar or start some silly feud, just some sort of actually evidence would be required before your statement should be taken with anything more than a grain of salt. Perhaps if you had a link?
That out of the way. Honestly anything above 25 FPS is good enough. 30 is usually the target because at normal playing speeds, anything above 30 is lost...
Your probably thinking of Dead Space. Another title for both systems that is being largely ignored. Sadly. :(
Hmm from what I've seen it's no different than any of other RPG I have recently played but seeing as how I've just seen videos and not actually played the game, I am left to wonder till I do so.
Wonder what he means by outdated battle system since most JRPS use some sort of Turn based system. Even FF12 would be considered turn base.
That and the subbed is usually free online. :)
Not unless by sold you mean came with system.
He could be taking damage that we just cant see(hud turned off) or they simple could have turned on god mode for the purpose of the demonstration which wouldn't be to unusual.
Its a decent little game. Not great or anything, very linear in way FFX was. You basically just follow one path from Point A to B the entire game. But the music was as you would expect fantastic and I really enjoyed how each characters name was a musical term. Alto,Baroque, Beat, Falsetto, and so on. Actually come to think of it the only one with an actually name was Chopin.
And while the history lessons where nice, especially with the background music that was employed, I could ...
I have no doubt my little CPU can run it nicely. I just hope they refine the engine so that it can run it on very high. :)
I'm not really sure how it will miss the target audience, but to comment on redefining the genre. Well to be honest that kind of thinking annoys the hell out of me. Very, very few games redefine the genre, such as...

I'm just happy the FF12 battle system wasn't copied. There is just something about a turn based RPG that, to me, seems more engaging and epic.
But I am curious how the whole immortal thing works out. That mean you never really die, or is it immortal in the sense that you can not die of old age, but you can through injury.
Sadly, HDi (in this regard) is better than Java. Maybe if they used Pearl I could forgive them, but Java. It makes me cry. :(
I swear every time I mention Dead Space someone disagrees with me, and I have yet to figure out why.
More than likely compatibility, though I suppose price could be a factor as well.
