So much unnecessary weight is placed in E3 and everyone is now on the Wii U is garbage bandwagon but just wait till footage/Info of the AAA titles they have in development is released, words will be eaten.
There is obviously going to be a new 3d mario, and other AA first party titles you are naive if you think otherwise. This is just the beginning, NSMB sold amazingly well its only natural they start out with another one. Just because they didn't show the AAA titles at e3 doesn't mean it's not already in development.
I think it just goes to show how irrelevant e3 is becoming. Look at MS and Sony just because we didn't see much from them game wise doesn't mean games aren't coming. THe same applies for nintendo. I feel like companies are more interested in reaching the press with their ideas, and tech for the casual audience rather than the games these days.It seems the internet could be partially to blame as well since we pretty much already knew most of what was to come and the fact that we kn...
ok so you get one life "per survivor" and if you die you get a different survivor to control. to get your supplies back you need to find your previous character who is now a zombie and retrieve the backpack you once had.
@XcaptainAmazing
I think that is the key right there, We know the games exist and that nintendo has a bunch of 1st party titles in development yet we didn't get to see any. And that's why people are disappointed. But it would be short sighted to write of the wii u just because the e3 conference didn't show something that is in the works and will eventually be a game. As long as Nintendo releases games like metroid ,starfox, f-zero or a true 3d mario game early on...
There will be more to come no doubt, E3 just isn't what it used to be. It's not really about the big unveils anymore it seems and im certain nintendo still has some good 1st party games up their sleeves. Could they have done more sure but I don't feel like it will hurt the wii u in the long run if they still deliver with the games during the first couple quarters. After watching the nintendo direct and seeing that ubisoft has fully committed to wii u other thrid parties will follo...
Now that's what you call "hardcore" not the blood and guts but the challenge, makes a lot of sense for a zombie survival game. Places a sense of urgency on the player and makes every decision count that much more. Personally sounds like a great move.
I feel like e3 as a whole has just become irrelevant, nothing shocking was shown here at mS or at sony nothing worthy of jumping up and down in amazement and its pretty much been that way the last few years... It's disappointing that the conferences turned out the way they did but I don't fee its the gaming industry dying just e3. plus a lot of the hype we used to get has gotten killed by the internet we see a lot or at least hear a lot before e3 even happens, so the shock value has b...
Yea I saw that too, seems like something a fan would do; was that a Mario mask and Miyamoto mask? lol.
If it's fake that's still a very impressive fake.
They were nothing but a couple passing clouds, Nintendo's the one that's gonna bring the storm!
not much of an accomplishment really.
sigh another one of these articles. Seriously the answer is No.
There is something not quite right about the all-stars battle royale game, Just doesn't look very appealing and seems to be lacking that smash bros charm. Plus is it just me or does it look graphically dated for a ps3 game? I mean Brawl pretty much looked the same visually. I dunno just looks stale to me. Who knows it might be fun to play though...On an another note Last of us looked pretty good.
It will have minimal impact on gaming but will be completely relevant in terms mulit-media, It won't be a Wii U killer by any means but it's a cool integration of technology and will be a nice add-on for the 360.
There actually is a lot of hate for madden within the sports gaming community however last couple years the direction of madden has changed for the better and it has been more than just a roster update like most people on the internet that don't actually play the game like to say. Just look at this year, real time physics, more than 25 pass trajectories, players actually have to see the ball so no more psychic DB's, over 400 new catch animations and the graphics, progressive lighting,...
It will be good for apps, and surfing the web but I don't really see it having a big impact gameplay wise. not everyone has a tablet and Even if most people have a smart phone it would not be a comfortable option for gaming and I doubt devs will spend much time on integrating it into their games either. again its a cool multimedia option but gaming...not so much.
It won't be hard to follow that's for sure.
Who cares it looks awesome and that's what matters.
Just because they missed the chance to show off doesn't mean that the 1st party games arn't coming. If there is one thing nintendo does right it's 1st party games. The wii U gamepad still looks like a great piece of tech and the doubters will be hushed the moment info of the next 3d mario. metroid, starfox, fzero zelda game is released. just sit tight.
