It seem to me like the lower reviews are criticizing difficulty as well as the wii u itself. they aren't being fair to the game. Whether DK is the game the wiiu needs or not has no credence for the quality of the title. A lot of them don't even make sense they praise the game for being better then returns and still call it uninspired. makes no sense. How can it be better then DKCR and get a lower score?

They did say they wanted to do more with their Licensing . This could be huge especially if the figures are nicely made. Collectors won't be able to resist

I don't think it's fair to complain about the sailing when you didn't get the new sail. Personally I was someone who hated the old triforce search but the new search was greatly improved and almost a non issue if you had been collecting triforce charts along the way. I also disagree with the "empty" world complaint seeing their are lots of optional islands to explore and to a degree the isolation makes sense. You are on a grand adventure sailing the ocean exploring unch...
VGX was underwhelming to begin with.
This wasn't about making a super secret reveal it was more about just marketing a upcoming game.

the dust jokes are getting old and are irrelevant when you consider that the wii u actually has a big library which is set to grow even bigger in 2014.

At this point if you are a gamer there is no reason not to own a wii u. That said picking up a ps4 this time next year would also make a ton of sense too because the ultimate combo would be to have both these awesome systems. They both trump each other in different categories and offer different experiences. People really shouldn't deny themselves from a system because of fanboy reasons.

The main negative with games is that they can be addicting. So setting limits is a good thing especially when dealing with children. Other then that let them play.
