exactly but in order to get that support it's going to take some hit's from nintendo's camp. Because first things first the Wii U must start selling and the only way that's going to happen at this point is if Nintendo releases some games that utilize the Wii U to it's full potential and that includes making full use of it's controller and miiverse features. Right now the best they can do is tell people the Wii U is worth developing, so they need concrete examples of i...

Ending this gen with a bang

The Wii U is underpowered compared to what sony and MS will come out with however this does not mean that the Wii U will not be capable of running beautiful games. This won't be like last gen where wii games and ps3 games weren't even close in terms of graphics. Just look at the graphics quality of the games that are coming out at the end of this gen that gamers are currently drooling over. If the wii U can even produce those kind of graphics It should be able to hold it's ground ...

I'm ok with that

The author hits a lot of good points here. People are most definitely looking at this the wrong way. Nintendo has discovered a way to ditch the presentation but still utilize E3. By having Directs they can make the announcements they want when they want and they have said they will be doing so leading up to E3. This essentially gives them a head start on getting real information out there in a time period that is filled heavily with speculation and gamers frothing at the mouth for info. Als...

I love how all these articles at the top of the wii U page are either about nintendo being scared, giving up, or committing suicide and yet no one bothers to read Nintendo's actual statements about how they plan to do this years E3.
Oh and it wasn't bad messaging on there part they pretty much stated it right away that they were still going to be at E3, people just jumped to conclusions and started writing bait articles say that they wont be there at all.

Truth is E3 shows have become less relevant over the years and even a little lame. In my opinion if Nintendo can still deliver with their announcements and new game reveals, not having a big fancy show won't hurt them. They will be getting their message across to the people in the business who mater and they will still keep the public informed through their own events. Not being restricted by holding back for the "big presentation" will allow for them to let loose info as they ...

The more I read about this it seems like this is actually the right call. The e3 presentations as of late have often left people with more questions than answers and I feel this will be a better way for nintendo to get the message they want to across.Remember the wii u presentation that left people wonder "so what is it?" this might help eliminate those issues. It will also make it easier for people to get a better look at the games and get a deeper impression of what the wii U is ...

After that god awful run free trailer I was ready to give up on this year but some of the impressions here have me semi interested again. I'm not convinced but definitely intrigued.I just hope that that running doesn't become to over powered.

Just wait till mario kart U...Wii U will be selling like hotcakes.

I think people are viewing it the wrong way. e3 while something gamers look forward to every year has also begun to lose it's appeal. Sure the hype is always there sure but the shows themselves have seen better days. If it was still the powerhouse it used to be Sony would have never held their own event to release the ps4 and would have used e3 as that platform. Even microsoft is unveiling their console only a few weeks before e3. Why do it early if e3 is such a big deal. Nintendo is not...

This is the game that was missing for the Wii U's launch titles. Mario Kart is a huge system seller.

hmm I have been meaning to pick up Far cry 3, $30 doesn't seem too bad. I must say though I have seen a change in GS over the past year, seems like they have more actual deals and ive also seen a bump in the trade in values(still not that great but better).

I really enjoyed Alice Madness returns despite it's flaws. Here's hoping this gets picked up.

They're gonna need more then a couple Wii U surprises and one of them better be a new Metroid.

whoa Deja vu! I could have sworn I saw this headline last week...oh wait I did. Seriously they're not going anywhere. If you want to play their games you're gonna have to play it on their hardware like it or not.

The Handyman's cries alone made me want to kill it. So annoying!

Outlast is exactly what the horror genere needs. Wish more horror games would come to consoles.

I loved Condemned! Bart's Department store level alone beats most horror games these days.(console wise)

I never played the first so I was hoping this would be like a definitive version of the game with more features and improved gameplay...oh well.
