I think it's cause each time you play it you can have a different experience, with a different team and new a strategy. There are so many possible combinations and options in terms of selecting your six and their moveset and it's always exciting when you catch a new potential team member. Plus their is the competitive aspect too.

First to say wind waker is a failed art style is absurd since it's one of the most beautiful games to come out of that gen. second to say they are obsessed is pretty hilarious. They brought the realistic art style fans wanted for TP, they then went with something new for skyward sword in an attempt to not simply make TP2. I'm all for mewtwo returning. I'm not clear on how he changes to his other form in x/y(is it temporary or is it a evolution?) but im sure they'll have him change some how in game, either with a shiek Zelda mechanic zero suit style or perhaps you can change after a certain amount of damage. What ever it is I'd take mewtwo over lucario or any other Pokemon any day.

The slow start is partially due to nintendo's need to release only the highest quality products when it comes to their first party titles. They could have probably kept pikmin 3 a launch title but to miyamoto pikmin 3 is more than just a game it is his labor of love and he was simply not willing to release the game knowing he could have made it better. Nintendo has gotten of to a slow start in terms of the wii u but look at what they did with the 3ds. It is home to a slew of amazing titles with more coming out each month. The Wii U will have a solid library by the end of the year.

This game seems like more of a stop gap between Arkham city and the true sucessor being developed by rocksteady. From what ive seen it just looks like an extension of arkham city with minor upgrades which isn't necessarily bad but I'm not sure if it will be worth a $60 price tag especially with games like GTA 5, Watchdogs, and Destiny coming out around the same time.
I have no doubt it will look stunning and be a true showcase of the wii u's power. I feel like it will have slightly more realistic charcter models with a Pixar esque flair to it. I do think they should have chosen a different game to use in the tech demo though cause at this point I can see a lot of disappointment if they go with a different style a la wind waker.
I have kept pretty much all my first party Nintendo games. It wasn't till just recently that I sold Mario kart wii and I kinda felt a little remorse after I did it. Nintendo games do retain great value and it is because people simply don't trade them back in because they become so attached to them. Nintendo will turn the wii u around no doubt especially if they maintain this attitude.
