Running out of steam would suggest a drop in quality or lack of interest which hasn't really happened.People still yearn for their 1st party titles. Also Nintendo has a number franchises that they have yet to revitalize with the wii u, such as star fox, Metroid, Kirby, they are finally giving Yoshi his first console game since Yoshi story and the hype for smash bros and Mario kart is huge.People are drooling with anticipation for what the next Zelda wii u will look like and they got games...

1st pikmin game since 2004 with the first one made in 2001. It's in an entirely different genre then their other first party titles and it does add new gameplay mechanics,does give new experiences and is giving us new lead characters, pikmin and enemies, OH and don't forget it's the first HD iteration. Also I guess nobody told EA about it being easy since they can't seem to get madden right yet despite 25 having tries.
Wow the scale of this game looks huge and it doesn't appear like the detail of the world suffers because of it either.

yea video game ads should be nothing more than a well put together trailer of the game. no need for fake smiling actors and cheesy dialog.

I think it will start selling before the holidays even start. Pikmin 3, wonderful 101, WindWaker hd, Sonic Lost World, rayman legends. I have a feeling Disney Infinity will move some units. And then there is always assassins creed 4, watchdogs, mario sonic Olympics, super Mario 3d wolrd, DK tropical freeze bayonetta 2,and wii fit U which will be out later this year. The right bundle could do wonders for the console.
They typically have 1-2 good not great titles a year with a gem or two every couple years. heavily outweighed by the slew of mediocre titles they pop out each year. They have yet to live up to "it's in the game" and make a proper football game it's taken them 3 years to put together a basketball game which probably still won't be able to compete with 2k. Far from one of the best developers on the market.

While Nintendo didn't do the best job to say its not the third parties fault either is letting them of easy. I feel third parties did give up extremely fast. Most third party games were just ports and its like they were expecting record sales. Ubisoft went back on there word with rayman legends only less then three months after wii u launch.Ea also went back on there word rather quickly. The only good thing ive seen so far from madden 25 is the footwork which is much improved . Everything else looks the same with a bit more detail and more true colors. I just don't get why EA can't put together a complete package, every year there is bits an pieces that are good but they never build on it.

Tomb raider has been one of my favorites this year.
biggest surprise for me has been state of decay.
People are acting as if Super mario 3d land was a bad game,when it's actually one of the best 3d experiences to be had from a mario title. Also 3d world seems to be blending a lot of elements from previous mario games including super mario bros 2 as well as adding in new stuff. The 4 player co-op may not be online but it looks great. One of the things missing from super mario galaxy was a co-op experience like this. It was such a good game but really not one you could put in when friends ...
Diddy, Dixie is the most plausible and has would be a perfect fit in the game. I don't see any of the others happening and I really don't want to see Sonic nerfed with tails.
