The game has no soul. Go play all-pro football 2k8 and you'll be shocked by how much life is in that game despite the dated graphics. There are more than enough FPS's out there i'd rather they give us a new adventure game or RPG. Plus nintendo can fill the FPS category with a new metroid prime game.
2k has the advantage for sure, they seem to have a real good handle on authenticity and have a greater attention to detail than EA. I don't expect live to top 2k this year but I do think it has a chance to put up a fight. what a sorry excuse. Dev's are really becoming greedier and lazier. They complain about used games and the industry dying yet they don't put any real effort in to try to save it. Maybe if they tried a little harder they would see better results instead of releasing half assed games with missing content. They need to realize they aren't just hurting one system as these kind of short cuts are greatly reducing quality of games all around.

This has got to be one of the blandest trailers ive seen in a while.
I like them when they are clever or have funny titles.I despise them when they are simply "collect 100 useless trinkets".Ive always thought of them as little messages from the developers saying "we were hoping you'd try that(or find that), good job".
At the most I see them bringing sonic back and then maybe they add one more sonic character(Knuckles would be awesome). But I really don't see any other third parties making it in. Id be happy if they could get geno in somehow.

It sounds good in theory but it's not gonna happen and it probably wouldn't work as smoothly as you think it would. You mentioned A LOT of DLC(some of which i'm not even sure would be possible) which would most likely not be free translating to us pretty much spending the same amount if not more. We could very we'll end up paying more knowing EA and the way they do business, more things will be left out to add later as DLC for $5. Stuff you would have gotten before.
